Motel 6 Santa Rosa, CA - North

"Spent $100 for one night.. there was a smell of fecal matter and or death coming from the right side of the sink by restroom as well as one side of the bed. It would randomly smell and when I say this was foul, it smelt worse than road kill. Random stray dog ended up barking at our room which woke us up multiple times. No microwave or fridge. Flooring in restroom partially coming up. All night being woken up by cars speeding by, sirens, other guests slamming things running up and down stairs. 0/10 would not recommend staying here, better off saving your money for a better place.. not worth it."

"Absolutely disgusting, burn amd old blood everywhere, we stopped due to severe rain unable to safely drive, everywhere was booked This was a nightmare slept in clothes didn't touch anything, called desk asked for sheets and blanket , not available. Our door was previously kicked out from inside ,downstairs was meth burn down. Don't stop . Period sleep on car"

"I stay a lot of Motel 6’s, this is the worst. The only place as bad is the other Motel 6 right down the street. Gross. Disgusting. Not safe. Bed bugs, trash, hair, holes in sheets. Stunk if cigarettes. Gang members and drug dealers lurking in the parking lot. Super loud, door didn’t close all the way, lights didn’t work. Left after 15min. Front desk showed me two other rooms that were just as bad and then refused to give me a refund but my credit card approved the chargeback. The 5 star reviews here are totally bogus. This place should be shut down."

"Terrible experience all together. The price they advertise on Google differed by about $28 from what I paid. Had I not been so tired from a late flight in I would not have stayed here after seeing the room. I get it, it's a motel 6, but they have no business charging about $100 for the room I stayed in. They seem to do the absolute bare minimum when it comes to maintaining the rooms. The fact that I felt the need to photograph everything before hand to avoid being charged for any of this should be a tell tale sign. Not sure the room was even cleaned prior to my arrival. Entered the room and was greeted by not 1, but 2 spiderwebs in the room, along with a spider on the wall. The pillow cases and towels had visible stains left in them. I didn't even feel comfortable sleeping IN the bed I slept ON the bed, fully clothed. The vents had dust all over and around them, didn't even want to turn on the heater. The bathroom door had who knows what on it, some type of brown residue, they couldn'tbe bothered to wipe the door down. They advertise a flat screen TV in the room with "expanded cable" the TV turned on, but had no signal on any source setting and the picture would randomly screen tear anyways. Do not recommend."

"My experience was great!!! The front desk ladies were all very nice and professional. The room surprised me. I got a double queen and it was very spacious and very clean! No dirtiness I could spot. Comfy beds. Big TV, nice desk for my laptop, and even a mini fridge. The lights were warm and inviting not harsh. The shower had great pressure and was hot. The sheets and towels were clean. The windows and door felt secure. What else could you ask for only $100! I’ve used this motel in the past and can confidently say it’s gotten much better over the last few months. I had a wonderful stay. Thanks to all the staff!"
