"The seaweed wraps/paper in the sushi rolls was so thick, I would have to chew it forever to break it down and finally we just stopped eating. I never waste sushi but this was inedible. The crab in all of our sushi rolls was colored a very fake hue of pink. Adding did coloring is really not necessary and seems suspicious. The misu was delicious and had some good chunks of tofu in it. Super nice servers, great with drink refills, friendliness and they were very attentive. Atmosphere is unappealing-so cluttered, seemed unkempt, upholstery on the chairs is so dirty. Will not return."

"From the appearance of the outside I was surprised that the food was only mediocre. The service was excellent but honestly the atmosphere the cleanliness needs to be worked on. I'm a truck driver so I went in by myself and I felt like I was rushed through my meal. Order to sushi roll and a meal that came with a soup and a salad. The Miso soup was incredible it was the best thing that I got. The spicy tuna roll tasted a little bit too fishy to be good quality fresh sushi grade tuna. The salad was literally swimming and ginger dressing and the Hibachi dish that I ordered was mediocre at best biggest complaint was the cleanliness I will not be going back to this location"

"I haven't come here for a few years because of disappointing sushi in the past. It hasn't changed. Still extremely overpriced for the quality and flavor. I don't have pictures from before unfortunately. Kbbq isn't something this place specializes in, but it wasn't remotely close. $14 for three pieces of stir fried beef with a lot sesame seeds to cover it up. It was not "smothered in kbbq sauce" nor grilled. The sauce that came on the side was also baffling. Tasted like plain raw chili flakes in vegetable oil. Have to go to Chicago to good kbbq I guess. No wonder the place was empty"

"We have been wanting to try this place for a while. Tonight was date night so we decided on The Lotus! We wanted sushi and it did not disappoint… It was soooo yummy! Ordered crab Rangoon as the appetizer and the sushi for 2 as our main entree… both dishes were delicious!!! The Scorpion bowl and the hot sake were perfect as well. We will definitely be back! There are so many dishes to choose from and I cannot wait to try so many more things!!! The servers were awesome and they made sure we never had to ask for anything, very attentive! I give this restaurant 5 out of 5!!!"

"I’ve been coming here ever since I was a little kid and never once have they dropped the ball on me. The food is amazing! No matter what when someone brings up sushi I bring up Lotus! The staff is so kind and the service is quick and efficient! The owner will never fail to come check on you and make sure that your satisfaction and standards are met. I would recommend this place a trillion times. I’ve attached a photo of my favorite roll in hopes that your tastebuds will be able to experience what mine do. It’s called the valentine roll! Go check it out, 11/10 recommend"
