"Excellent. Almost old school experience. Super clean. Super packed and very well organized. KNOWLEDGEABLE staff. They had garage door drums and cables when most stores didn't. I've got a good Ace Hardware within half a mile, but I'm inclined to drive 7 miles to this one."

"I’ve have gone to ACE on many occasions, I literally live around the corner. I always support our local small business around town from the dry cleaners to pizza place around the shop. BUT this is the place where I have to think twice. EVERY TIME I stop by, and from the minute I step in I’m being: followed and judged like if I’m stealing something! The entire staff (especially the older ones), including the owner will stare at you while waiting in-line to pay for your items, trying to see if you’re hiding something underneath the cart. There’s times that it feels like their UNDRESSING you to see if your hiding something!!!! VERY UNCOMFORTABLE! One of my many visits I stop by to try and buy a gift for my wife! YETI mug, so I was looking around trying to decide on a color, and from the corner of my eye one of the staff members was peaking, PEAKING thru the isles to see what I was doing! I put the mug back and paid for my other items and left! Yet, they were still trying to “undress me” from their paint booth!! For now on I would rather take a drive to Lowe’s or Home Depot, or any place but here!! Yes they have the basic essentials we all need at home but so sad that ACE’s staff main priority is to judge if you are stealing or not!"

"I want to support the small shop but it’s hard when the prices on items are more than double at Lowe’s. It kills me to buy plumbing items at their prices. Register girls are nice but I’ve had other staff follow me around like I’m going to steal something. On top of it they wouldn’t let my 3yr old use their bathroom and if you’ve had kids, you can’t predict their bathroom usage. I go to this ace for emergencies or minor items only. Not the welcoming vibe most Ace stores have."

"Simple, know what you're building and know who can serve your needs best! Their store has the best layout for small parts, screws, nuts, bolts and if you're lucky - they'll have brands of gear that mostly are more money but quality stuff that corporate hardware stores can't - but Ace can!"
