"I opted to have my 3rd at the birth center and had Shea as my doula. My first pregnancy was an induction, my second was a c-section. Shea was amazing. Even my husband said she was great! On day of, She helped keep tabs on progress and kept me informed, suggested alternatives, and most importantly coached me through active labor. I didn’t know how much I needed a doula until I had one. My post-partum experience has been so much better, both physically and mentally. I definitely wished I had one with my first pregnancy!"
"Having Jenny as my doula was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. She’s very knowledgeable but most importantly, she’s very caring and supportive. "Nurture Me Birth services was the best decision I made for myself! I had Courtney as my midwife, Shea as my doula, and took a birth class with Jenny. I could not have had a better team. It is because of them that I had a wonderful pregnancy and birth. I felt confident and empowered throughout the entire process. They are incredibly caring and knowledgeable women that made me feel safe and comfortable going through my first pregnancy and birth. I got to have the experience I hoped for without any fear or worries, and I can never thank them enough. I will absolutely be using them again for any future babies I have, and I highly recommend them!"
"You want this team behind you when you are birthing a baby! We ended up inducing (not plan A) and Courtney and Shea crushed it!! My induction was about 30 hours total and these 2 showed up throughout. They had a birth down the hall while I was being induced. I think Shea went home and got about 45 minutes of sleep at 3am and I called her a little after 4 after Courtney broke my water. Shea not only coached my but also helped my husband help me through each contraction (a few of which were 12 minutes long!!) Anyway looong review for me to basically say, whatever your birth plan or goals are hire a Doula!! And hire one from Nurture Me! These women are exceptional humans, passionate care givers & amazing Christ Centered Powerhouses!!"
