About the Business
Helping Hands of Midland is a non-profit organization located at 1301 Brinson Lane in Midland, Texas. We are dedicated to serving the poor and underprivileged of Midland County by providing financial, spiritual, and emotional support. Our mission is to help those in need with humility and respect, ensuring that each person's dignity is preserved.
As a faith-based, non-denominational institution, we offer financial assistance for rent, utilities, prescriptions, emergency housing, and transportation. Those seeking help can contact our helpline, where a caseworker will assess their needs and provide assistance as necessary.
We operate a thrift store where donated items are sold to raise funds for our programs. Donations can be made Monday through Saturday from 8am to 1:30pm at the rear of the building. We accept a wide range of items in good condition, including clothing, furniture, appliances, and household goods.
Volunteers are the heart of our organization, and we welcome individuals of all backgrounds to join us in serving the community. Whether you have an hour or a day to spare, there is a role for you at Helping Hands of Midland. Training is provided, and all help is greatly appreciated.
If you are in need of financial assistance, please call our Helpline at (432) 520-8900. Walk-ins without an appointment will not be accepted.
