Cranberry Apartments

"My son and I have lived at cranberry apartments for a year. It was recommended through my sister, which she rents through them as well. My apartment complex is clean, respectful, and quiet. Management is friendly, understanding, and appreciative of their tenants. Our Maitence crew is quick and reliable. I’m only giving my experience and it has been quite well! "Under new management recently and they are very responsive and helpful. Maintenance is always done in a day or less and the property manager is very nice and is very generous with her time. Have lived here for years and the new management has really improved everything ."

"My last year living at this place. I am a quite good tenant keep my house clean etc. But I don’t deserve to live in such environments. Constant smoking from neighbors to the point my clothing smells of smoke and management does nothing about it. They know who is doing it and will not enforce the rules as it supposed to be non smoking in our lease agreement. The laundry room only has one washer and dryer with 8 apartments per unit to use which frequently causes issue’s and breaks down often. My unit was supposed to have been updated however the heating system doesn’t work well they did not replace heaters, the tub is very yellow and old and plastic. So it never looks clean. The paint so cheap the walls were peeling the day I moved in. There’s little storage space. One of my closets smells of basement and we don’t have a basement. There’s always nasty odors coming into my until and it’s always humid or extremely cold in my unit because there isn’t any insulation. The only pros I have about this place is that myself and those in my unit are usually quite. But maintenance doesn’t do there jobs well seems to always be angry once asked to fix things and takes a very long time to finish request. Unfortunately for this property they are going to lose more hood tenants and suffer with lousy tenants like the building complex down the street."

"Worst place ever !!!! on Christmas day the ceiling collapse. Water pipes busted me and my kids were homeless, and they rehomed almost everyone in the apartment building. But us . Heather is the most unprofessional person I ever met and heartless. I would not recommend live in here,"

"Leasing a 2 bedroom luxury unit, I have been here a year and so far no major problems. Management is quick to fix any issues. Recently garage doors were replaced. Neighbors are usually quiet, I walk around frequently. The only significant noise in the area seems to be from the train that goes by, nothing a fan doesn't cover up, it really doesn't bother me. A good find, anything in Illinois is way more expensive."
