"I absolutely love this place. These vets are great. Unfortunately, there is a long wait, even if you have an appointment. But its so worth the wait. The Drs. Dan & Don Woody are the most compassionate. I bred, showed, and trained dogs for over 15 years. Two of my rascals got tetanus. There was no know cure. But Don had a brilliant idea. He said there is a remedy for horses at the local feed store. He said if if was willing to try he could calculate the dosage for my extra large breed pups. He saved their lives thinking outside the box! Don is my absolute favorite, God bless his soul because he takes the time to teach me. That's why I don't mind the wait. If I inquire about the cause of something he literally will open a text book and show me. That's why I don't mind the wait. I have learned so much from these vets. I have not visited in over a decade. I hope Dan, Don & Tina are still healthy & happy. I so wish Dan's son carries on the family business. I recall how he told me of his love for exotic pets. If he is anything like his dad and uncle, this place will be a gem in Pasadena for decades more to come. I wish them all the very best and offer my utmost gratitude for the decades of compassion and love I felt here. For all they did to help not just my pure breed dogs, but my myriad of rescues. Lots of LOVE & Abundant blessings to them all!!!"

"Always helpful and very attentive! I highly recommend this facility. It's old and you may have to wait a bit, but it's worth it because they know what they are doing and are not aggressive or rough with your pet. I've been using them due over 20 years and prefer to continue to use them before I have to go anywhere else!!"

"**The experience and friendliness of the staff is absolutely tops. The prices are extremely reasonable. The hours take some understanding, and being able to reach them by phone is almost impossible at the present time, but they answer Facebook messenger really quickly, because of their phone situation.** They do close for a bit in the early afternoon for lunch, and they don't post a sign because the re-open can vary from day-to-day (not just because they take a long siesta, but because of something to do with meetings and their licensing, i think). Since the staff is so small, Tina can't answer the landline. She is so busy doing clerical stuff, as well as assisting the doc, that she can't be tethered to the front desk (and cordless phones don't work due to interference in the building). The landline is mostly used for faxes and such, so it's almost never answered, if at all. Search "Preston Road Animal Hospital" on Facebook and send a message on there. Plus, they are "working on" the phone stuation, trying to get a company cell that will allow them to answer while walking around."
