"My Niece came in for an apartment tour and this is what she walked into. This is completely disgusting and unacceptable! Would not recommend. Building smelled of cigarettes before even entering the unit. Obviously the owner isn’t very active and didnt even bother to look in the unit before showing it to a potential renter. Sad Case for sure!"

"They also will not give you any information or view of the apartments unless you submit and pay for an application. They are VERY rude on the phone. They refuse to pick up the phone even because you are not worth their time so they leave it on speakerphone. If you ask about availability and viewing, they just bark a price at you. My theory is that if they are that rude to you when they are trying to sell you something, how rude will they be once you're stuck in a lease. The prices do seem better than other area properties so maybe you're just getting paid to accept the unprofessional behavior. It is also a good location if you do not mind noise. I feel like if you choose to live in a city, you should expect noise. Update: The manager reached out to me and apologized. She seemed to really understand why I was bothered. She did tell me about the units but I did not go view as they were not what I was looking for. Changing my rating from 2 to 3*."

"Rented here about 4 years ago. Management was extremely rude and demeaning. I signed a 6 month lease, paid every month on time. Never had any problems other then one incident. I had a guest in town stay with me for a weekend that got harassed by the management for being there and not being a resident. I was called by management before my 6 month lease was up asking if I would be renewing, in which I told them no. I had to move a day the office was not open so I was told just to leave the keys in the apartment, which sounded weird to me. A year later never heard anything from them, then all the sudden got a collection report on my credit saying I owed them $4000 for "failed to pay rent". The dates were for after my lease ended. This has completely ruined my credit and my chances of getting another apartment. And still nothing has been resolved 4 years later!!! Don't waste your time!"

"I’ve lived in the Paul Brown Lofts for 7 years. This building used to be amazing but, until their management company decides to hire security for the building, do not bother unless you want to feel unsafe due to random people getting into the building, constant storage unit break-ins, package theft, barking dogs, current residents leaving trash/dog waste in the common areas and an office that will no longer accept resident package deliveries... do not bother. Every time something bad happens now, instead of reassurances, residents get a nasty note from the office stating how we will all get punished. Maybe consider handling the complaints by punishing the tenants causing issues Instead of making more rules that only punish the residents who are actually following the rules? Hopefully something changes soon or the mass exodus of long-term residents leaving will only get worse."

"Horrible experience before I have even moved in. I had the movers I booked call and move our window to 1pm, so I called to let the apartment know. Christy the “manager” told me legally she would not be able to stay past 5. What a joke. I’m supposed to sleep on the floor and wait until Monday when she can legally let me unload my uhaul??? Never have I ever experienced such an adolescent, unprofessional, attitude about something so simple. I’m beyond mad and will be following up every avenue to get reimbursed the $700 I have to pay now since she legally just cannot be here past 5."
