Her classes are the perfect mix of challenging and fun. The people in the classes have become my good friends and the vibe is great. "I have been going to Third Coast Rhythm Project for several years. I have tried many studios, but this one is my favorite by far! Barbara Phillips sets a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The studio is financially very reasonable and flexible too! You can pay for one class at a time if you know you can't consistently come to classes. Absolutely wonderful studio!"
"I signed up months in advance for the saturdays beginners class, bought my tap shoes and headed out on the first day of class. When I arrived I was told that the class was cancelled because I was the only person who enrolled. I never received a call because the instructor was too busy preparing for a festival and just didn't keep track of the schedule or enrolees. I danced when I was younger so I understood the importance of preparing for performances, she refunded my payment but said that after the festival she would call me to discuss alternative classes. Again, I understood and looked forward to her call. Well, she never called. Needless to say I was disappointed yet again. My opinion is this is clearly not a company for beginners but more advanced dancers as the director cannot find time to contact perspective students."
