World Karate

"I was introduced to World Karate by a friend on mine who absolutely loves the school for her kids. We have been a World Karate family for almost 10 months now and we absolutely love it here. "Before I started training at World Karate, I was scared of everything. Going into dark rooms around the house, going into the garage to take out trash, and even little sounds scared me a ton! Then, I learned about World Karate and eventually it was my first day there. I learned a simple punch and kick which made the pad echo throughout the tiny room. My teacher was impressed by my strength and offered to start karate that day. We obviously accepted, my mother and I, so I came back later that day to start a bit of training. It was hard for someone with a bare belt but I pushed through it. The next day when I came back, I received my first belt. I learned many more kicks, punches, and forms until I earned my gold belt. I felt as if I was on the top of the world and nothing could ever stop me. My fears lifted; all of the motivational speeches and good jobs the teachers gave to everyone encouraged me a lot! I started turning off all the lights in my room, I wasn’t scared one bit. I also started throwing the trash into the bin outside, not scared. And even the little creaks didn’t scare me at all.
