"Such a chore just to get back to the unit. Huge differences in what people are paying per month e:g government or actually paying. Speed bumps every ten feet. If you have "help" on your rent is the only reason I can see someone enjoying living here. Other than that nobody likes it here. You're lying if you say you do."

"I was trying to get an apartment in 2029 middle of Covid. I went in and had no issues w/ application/ showing of the apt. M only thing was why is it going to take 3 wks to run an application. A sister property in WDM is amazing- within2 wks you know what is due etc. So, I ended up going with a different place(non income restricted). I was hoping it had improved as I was hoping to come back, but with the lack of communication- I have to give 60 days and have no leeway of this previous stuff in reviews I guess Barker properties here I come"

"Here’s my “lovely” experience so far! My boyfriend and I looked at an apartment in December 2022, we were told a week later that one would be ready by February, so we turned in our applications through email because we live almost 3 hours away. I turned in the applications on 1/1 which was almost 3 weeks ago. I called 2 weeks ago to ask if they have looked over our paperwork only to be told they “couldn’t find it”, while on the phone I looked in my email and found all the info I sent them, so forwarded it once again, never got a call back. My partner called them a couple days ago only to be told the same thing I was told 2 weeks ago that they did not have our paperwork and would call back once they find it. They never called back. I’ve been calling everyday, leaving voicemails everyday, with no call back or emails whatsoever. To top it off, they’re closed every Wednesday so you only have 4 days of the week to call them only to not get a call back. It has been very frustrating and we’ve decided to start looking elsewhere"

"I am over this management group completely. My daughter and I moved from TN in October and we’re in a hurry to find a place. I was thrilled when we got approved for Cross Creek knowing it would be hard to find anything else last minute with the holidays approaching. I was told my apartment would be ready the end of November beginning of December at the latest. Here we are approaching mid January and still “no idea when the apartment will be ready.” After two months not even a ball park guess, how is that even possible!? We’ve spent not only my daughters birthday but Christmas and New Years in a hotel. Now my daughter is starting school and we of course are looking elsewhere but we could have saved ourselves time, money and stressed if someone back in November had simply said “hey we actually have no idea what the hell we’re talking about!”"

"I lived at Cross Creek for almost 8 years. And within those 8 years they had a lot of turnover amongst management. But for the last couple years the leasing manager Jen has been great. 1) She has great customer service skills 2) She makes sure your unit is up to par if you have any issues. On average I've called in a request and the repair was corrected in under 24 hours. 3) She has a no nonsense policy when it comes to safety. So it's a wonderful place to raise a family 4) I've also personally seen her ride through the property multiple times with a smile on her face just to show her presence. Cross Creek apartments are spacious and close to all the big name companies and on the local bus route. I'm going to miss the place and staff. It was an amazing experience."
