Motel 6 Davenport, IA

"This hotel is really dingy and a lot of the non smoking rooms smelled like smoke. Holes in the sheets from cigarette burns. Disgusting mattresses. Smells like dog in a lot of the rooms. Found diabetic syringes on the bedside table. A different room had broken down swisher guts on the table when we got there. The roaches were awful. I would definitely not bring food in your room for any period of time. The toilets don’t get cleaned and the floors left my socks almost black. I was also put on the “do not rent” list because they double charged my card on 2 separate occasions and I made the mistake of talking to the front desk instead of calling the corporate number. Just a really dingy hotel with really poor ownership but I guess you get what you pay for."

"It was by far the Worst place I ever stayed in. First door didnt work correctly wouldnt lock unless you slammed it. Safety latch was broken on door. There was garbage bags of trash by the doors. The outside doors didnt lock so anyone could come in off the street. Then took covers off the bed and slept on just the sheets. Woke up at 0230 to find bed buds on the bed, then looked like mites also crawling on the bed. Packed my stuff and took it back out to my truck came back in to find cockroaches crawling on the cover on the floor, roaches on the sink and counter top, and roaches on walls in the bathroom. I went to take a very quick shower to get the hell out of there and would you believe the drain wasnt working and bathtub filled with water.. Got dressed and got the hell out of there. I took pictures of all of this becouse I was in awe of this place. I have been all over the world in the army slept in some pretty interesting places but I never had to pay to stay in places like this.. Please stay away from this place until they get off there butt and clean and spray this place. They take no pride in the place and it shows.."

"Not one complaint about this affordable motel. I can't say enough good things about the employees that work so diligently to keep this motel operational. Attentive housekeeping, exterior maintenance is a challenge to keep up with but it's looked after daily. Front desk personnel are very professional and helpful to the guests. Most affordable motel in the area."

"After using the restroom once when I got to the hotel it clogged up took maintenance over 2 hours to get to it. There were no towels in the room along with no type of soap. The bed was hard the pillows were flat and the bedspread had five cigarette Burns in it. And when I get up the next morning I seen cockroaches crawling across the floor. I would not recommend this Motel 6 to anyone."

"I was so disappointed with my stay!! The rooms were absolutely disgusting there were bugs crawling all over the room the floors had not been swept or mopped and my 1 year old found and alcohol bottle lid under bed. There was a total of 2 towels in the whole room and 2 pillows on the bed when I went down to ask for another pillow they informed me they only had one pillow left in the whole hotel… the front desk lady wasn’t very friendly either. After I got my pillow the lady told me my 1 year old was being too loud and they were getting noise complaints like come on she a 1 year old she’s still learning not to mention this was after maybe 20 minutes of being in the room. On top of it all the room have no microwaves or fridges and the bed sheets are nasty. Yes this hotel is on the cheaper side but I would rather spend a little more just to not stay at the hotel again!!"
