"i recently applied & was approved for an apartment to move in December. i was told after approval in order to hold it i needed to place the security deposit down so i did. well even i paid additional deposit fees this week because they told me the sooner the better to pay the rest so i had to barrow money to pay the rest. the security deposit was my last bit of savings left. i had an unforeseen awesome job offer which requires me to locate. long story short i have to turn down that opportunity for myself because they refuse to give me my security deposit back & most likely have to move in & stay in Davenport. they would honor it towards a “future move in” granted, but the relocation is no where near Davenport. moral to this story do not apply here or put money down unless you are ABSOLUTELY sure you are moving here. if you have unseen events happen like relocating for work before you even sign a lease or move in, they will keep your security deposit regardless."
"DO NOT LIVE HERE. And if you do, TAKE PICTURES FOR PROOF when you move out of every single thing you have cleaned. They will do anything to keep your security deposit and there is nothing you can do. They will try to say to just use your checklist sheet & even if you do they will still try! My apartment was ALWAYS CLEAN. And we deep cleaned it prior to moving out. They charged me for needed to wipe off the cabinets & stove. Grimey people!!! They also have the dumbest rules like no sidewalk chalk when you PAY TO LIVE THERE."
"I really enjoyed my time at Kimberly Club Apartments. I was there since November of 2021 until June of 2023 and absolutely loved it. We’ve had small issues with water, dishwasher, etc. and Kimberly club responded with maintenance within the same hour and fixed it. They are super kind and treated my roommate and myself amazing! Would definitely recommend staying with Kimberly club!"
