"Started bringing my son here after he was born July 2021. At first I wasn’t happy about no one ever picking up the phone during hours of operation and if you left a message, would take 2 days sometimes more to get a call back. After overcoming that I was very pleased with Dr Tucker but her office manager/nurse is the one who’s made me take my business elsewhere after today! She is very rude, never has a smile and uninviting! We went for 15 month shots and it’s 18 degrees outside and once inside i realize it’s freezing in the office as well. I was asked to take all my child’s clothes off down to diaper and I stated I would take them off when she was ready to do measurements as it was too cold to have him exposed. She replied well it will take longer for his measurements to be done and walks out. The dr comes in 20 min later with a space heater and says, we will put this on so you can undress him as we can’t bill the insurance without measurements. After we get somewhat warm dr comes to do weight and vitals and i tell her I wasn’t comfortable having my baby with clothes off while not being seen due to the temperature and i’m not happy with the way her nurse makes me feel every time we come in. I was expecting my concerns to be heard but instead she told me there are hundreds of pediatricians in the area! Don’t believe stars and reviews cause they can be purchased! If you want a place where child and parent are treated with compassion and care go somewhere else cause this office only cares about if they’ll be paid by the insurance company point blank, period!"

"Where can I start. As new parents, we interviewed 3 other Pediatricians before we decided upon Dr. Tucker. Its been almost 9 years and we couldn't be happier - with her down-home and personalized demeanor, I never feel like I am being talked down to and feel that she honestly cares for the health and well-being of my children. Her bedside manner is amazing and when I have had to take my children to the ER, she has given us her personal cell phone for updates and questions. That by itself is absolutely astounding care in a modern medical environment where you normally must leave a message just to talk to a nurse. While I mean no disrespect here, I feel that Dr. Tucker is rather 'earthy' in her child rearing recommendations. The other doctors we interviewed treated certain care (like vaccines) on a strict, regimented, unmovable schedule and those that deviated for any reason went to the extreme of putting their child at risk. We felt that Dr. Tucker was a bit more flexible in many regards (but the way that she provided her opinion was of a close friend - not as an imposing authority figure). She still held the same professionalism as the other pediatricians, but was less strictly regimented on their delivery. Also - her office staff have been consistent for 9 years and we are on a first name basis with them. That is a VERY good sign for any doctor - her people are helpful, amicable and just as personal as their employer."
