"My exam was on time in fact it began a little early. I was very concerned with the MRI because I have shortness of breath. I do not recall the tech's name but I feel she could have been a little more tactful. She was giving me instructions on how to lie on the table (I had two mris) and seemed a little impatient. Then after the first one (MRI) , I needed to go to the bathroom and when I came out I asked for a little water. She said, "you didn't bring your water?" Most all of the health care workers I have encountered, could not be more accomodating and am accustomed to receiving the warm and fuzzys. But not today. I was informed if I could not tolerate their machine, they had another facility down the street. Perhaps, if I need another MRI, I will go to your other facility."

"I've had more than my share of MRIs over the years but the procedure I had today at Northstar was by far the best. The staff was very courteous and explained everything to put my mind at ease. Most of the equipment used for this is rather loud, but they gave me ear plugs and some padded headphones to listen to my favorite music. I was so comfortable, I actually fell asleep for part of it. If I ever need more of these procedures, I will definitely go back to Northstar Diagnostic Imaging."

"I only gave a one because zero is not possible. The staff are good but they are charging almost three times what insurance pays. I will have to take my business somewhere else."

"If you ever need a refund from them, don't count on it coming anytime soon. Don't count on it coming without calling them once a week asking them where your money is. Also don't count on anyone in billing to ever be helpful until it's been months past the time you were due the refund. Prepare to give the same speech over and over while they check the notes and ask you questions that are already answered in your previous 10+ calls worth of notes. You'll be fine if you're fortunate enough to not have to deal with insurance and are paying in cash though."
