With a passion for caring for children that began during his time at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Dr. Rivera has been practicing medicine in the North Carrollton area since 1983. As a Board-certified pediatrician, he provides comprehensive care to children from newborns to college-aged young adults. Dr. Rivera has a special interest in developmental pediatrics, sports medicine, and treating young athletes. In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Rivera enjoys hobbies such as pottery, woodworking, photography, and gourmet cooking. He is also an active participant in tennis, fly tying, fishing, scuba diving, and motorcycle road trips. Dr. Rivera takes great joy in building lasting relationships with his patients and their families, and he is committed to helping children grow into happy and healthy young adults.
