"I called ahead of time and spoke with Jacob to ask specific questions to obtain a quote on a laptop so I didn't waste my time. I've never pawned anything before either. After answering my questions and recieving my quote I hung up and decided to pawn said laptop. When I arrive the first question Jacob ask is if I have my receipt. I do not. He and the other employee inform after the fact that they can't accept any electronics without the original receipt or the state of Texas imposes a $500 fine. That information would've been helpful when I made my phone call. Update- I went to the cash america down the street off N. Lamar next to HEB (9616 N Lamar). I called before hand and asked if they require a receipt. They told me if the laptop looks brand new they would. Seeing as how the first location didn't even look at the laptop I figured I would try. I'm glad I did. They loaned me the requested amount with no issues."
"Visited this Cash America to buy a shotgun and the Assistant Manager Steffie was super helpful and professional, and gave me some of the best customer service I have had in a while. The store manager Miguel was super friendly and was extremely knowledgeable about firearms. Excellent selection here at this location. Will be coming back."
"I love coming to this pawnshop to either buy or sell items. They will work with you on an item price if it has been there awhile and give you a great deal or bundle things together. If they do not have what you are looking for they will call another location for you. Miguel is very knowledgeable about the items in the store and he deserves a raise.
