"Bathroom was dirty. Hair in the shower and on the soap dish inside. Shavings inside the bathroom sink. Air conditioner didn't work and it was HOT in our room. In fact, we left at 530 AM after only being there 6 hours. Waste of money and never again."

"I practically live at airport hotels and it doesn’t get any worse than this. Sour service. Crappy food. The “transportation” doesn’t show up until they feel like it. Worn out rooms. Climate control does not work properly. Plumbing does not work properly. Lighting does not work properly. You will get way more rest cheaper, faster, cleaner, more comfortable at any local motel. Please do not patronize. You have a choice."

"The restaurant is delicious. The staff are very friendly. The workout room is pretty decent also. But my room was disgusting. Stuff splattered on the door and walls. A footprint on the sheets, make up all over one of the pillowcases the carpet definitely was not vacuumed. Found a dirty washcloth when I pulled out the dryer, hair all over the shower."

"First, when we arrived at 1:30 am, the clerk couldn't locate our reservation. She finally found a room but it was not the room we booked. The room was hot and smelled like mildew. It seemed like they gave us the last room they had. The bathroom was not very clean. The towel had some kind of feathers stuck to it. The only good thing I can say about this hotel was the location was great. This is not the standard I expect from a Marriott hotel. I booked this through southwest Vacations and would never do that again. Totally bad experience all around...from the room to the rental car issues. Lesson learned!"

"I recently stayed at the Marriott St. Louis Airport, and I have some mixed feedback about my experience. Firstly, the location was ideal, being close to the airport and offering a free shuttle service. The hotel itself is nice and provides numerous amenities. Checking in and out was a breeze, and all the staff members were friendly and accommodating. However, there were several issues during my stay that impacted my overall satisfaction. On the night of check-in, there was an unusual smell near the door area, which other guests at the hotel bar also noticed and discussed. The room inspection revealed cleanliness problems, with a dirty table and phone, as well as spider webs in the corners of the ceiling. The bathroom had towels with unsightly black and yellow stains. To make matters worse, the heating system in the room was malfunctioning, leaving me in a chilly room during cold, rainy weather. I promptly reported these issues to the front desk, and although I received an apology and new towels, the promised maintenance visit for the heating problem never materialized, leaving me with a cold night’s sleep due to the fully booked hotel. The next morning, I informed the morning staff about the ongoing issues, and they offered a free breakfast voucher and another promise of maintenance assistance. Overall, while the Marriott St. Louis Airport has potential and offers convenient amenities, my experience was marred by cleanliness and maintenance issues that left me with a less than satisfactory stay. There is room for improvement in ensuring a consistently pleasant and comfortable guest experience."
