Modernistic Motel

"I am a mystery shopper and let me just say, THIS SHOP WAS A MASSIVE FAILURE!! STAY AWAY from apartments.com and this so called Modernistic Motel!! This is a run down what used to be motel looks like converted to apartments. The units and the community are not clean! The apartment I was "rented" was described as everything in it is "NEW". Now I am not sure what their definition of new is but that unit was not it!! The appliances were rusted and outdated. The floors were "sanded" but not finished. There was so much dust in the apartment, I am not sure how anyone would ever get that place clean. The windows, they had absolutely no treatments! No screens! Barely closed and did not open! The windows were so absolutely filthy, the last time they may have been clean was when they were initially put in the place! There were no NEW bathroom fixtures. The bathroom floor tiles were all cracked up. The face on one of the furnaces just fell off and the amount of dust that came out choked me and my son nearly to death!! The outside of the unit was so unbelievably dirty! Paint peeling and chipped. The amount of dirt on the outside of the unit was amazing! There was junk on the outside of the unit just propped up against the unit. It was as if they did the barest minimum and tried to rent the unit for $700 because it was the biggest on the lot with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. The management, Gene DelPreore with GTA Schricker LLC seemed nice... at first, but that quickly turned to unprofessional after I let him know I decided not to take the unit. He had the audacity to ask me what was wrong with the unit? In that voice, like he is trying to make everything seem okay because he knows that place was bogus!! Clearly he had never physically seen the unit!! He know dang well he would not have his OWN family live in that unit, and to expect someone else to have their family in that unit is unacceptable, grossly unprofessional and shameful! Gene claimed he would refund monies because I decided on not taking the unit but still has not!! Looks like he has money to waste with legal fees! I could see why if he is out here misrepresenting and presenting the quality of apartments he does, he is robbing a lot of people of their money!! STAY AWAY FROM GENE DELPREORE WITH GTA SCHRICKER LLC! HE IS DISHONEST! HE IS ROBBING PEOPLE OF THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH HIS LIES AND GROSS UNPROFESSIONALISM!!"

"This place is nasty. Full of drunks and crack heads. Went to try to find a friend and was almost jumped. Had some man hanging in my car window begging for money and cigarettes. It's not a safe place to be unless you're looking to "score" some dope. Keep your kids safe and stay away."
