"It was fine during the weekdays but weekends are terrible. The noise for the surrounding area (one bar specifically) was so loud I thought it was a neighboring room. I would like to be able to sleep at some point but apparently that won't happen until the bar closes. I'm used to downtown hotels and such but this was like there was no insulation and the windows mught as well not have been there. I have no idea why other hotels can keep the outside noise out but this one cant. Our key cards regularly didn't work and at one point I had to wait 15 min just till the front desk showed up to fix the issue. The lobby smells of propane, the hallways smelled like weed, but the room was clean and large. The pillows were tiny and very uncomfortable, but the bed is fine for a hotel bed. My kids appreciated the unlimited pancakes at breakfast but other than that it's not great. Our fridge made so much noise as well. I thought there were glass bottles in it, but nope just weird clinking noises and loud shaking for some reason. I won't be staying here again."

"Stayed here last week and I won’t bother coming back again . Let’s start with the rooms , I paid over 400.00 for a weekend stay . The room was filthy . House keeping isn’t doing their job correctly , it was old candy wrappers , candy on the floor that appeared to be skittles . The linen had stains and someone forgot to insert the soap , shampoo and conditioner. Next I’ll like to add how I traveled here for a peace of mind and still didn’t get any . So many kids ran the halls all night and to top it off there’s a pub near by that plays really loud music until 3:00 am which kept myself and my new born baby up practically all night . The following morning all I wanted was some hot breakfast and coffee, once I arrived they’re were over 20 teenagers who appeared to be drunk hovering over all the food and devouring it using profanity and just being extremely rude . Not only was I disgusted the other guest were as well. Never again will I stay at this location ."

"Stayed here for a week while in town for work at Rock Island Arsenal. I wanted to give a smaller company a shot, but regretted it from check in. I had read online that it was recently renovated, but that is quite a stretch. The rooms are dated, which isn’t all bad if that was the only draw back. Breakfast opened at 6:30 AM, but for three days straight, it was totally empty by 7:30 AM. On the third day, I let the front desk know and they said there should be an attendant. The next two days it appeared to be better attended to. I got in later the first night and ate dinner at the bar. The bartender also pulls double duty in the “kitchen”. Not an ideal situation. He seemed to be okay with it, but as people placed orders, I could hear the wait times on food increasing. Friendly guy doing his best, but clearly not set up for success. After work on the first day, my key card wouldn’t open my door. I approached the front desk and the girl anticipated my issue, and asked if my cards weren’t working. I’m fairly certain they weren’t initially activated for the duration of the stay. She asked me when I was leaving and reprogrammed them for the full duration. There is also quite a bit of visible dust on the decorative elevator shaft. The glass wall exposes what is supposed to be decoration, but the appearance is overshadowed by the excessive dust. It would be worth shutting down to clean. Speaking of the elevator, it was out of service twice during my 5 day stay. In one occasion, I pushed the button and could hear someone on the inside saying, “I don’t think the doors opening”. Being there for work, I needed to print a one page document. I asked the front desk if there was a business center. I was told, “Yeah, if you go down the hall there’s a room with a sign that says “Huck’s”. It has comfy chairs.” When I explained I was looking for a business center with a printer, she said no they didn’t have anything like that. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. Next time, I’ll stay at The Element and collect my Marriott points. I had counterparts stay there on this trip and were very pleased."

"Very nice hotel for the price. The rooms are very nice. The property was recently renovated and looks beautiful. The pool area is very nice. There were too many kids for us to think about going to the pool. We knew beforehand that the hot tub wasn't open yet. Breakfast was average. Again, there were too many kids, and they were constantly filling their plates, so we had a hard time getting food at 9 a.m. We will stay here again when we visit the area. Good value for the money."

"We had our daughter’s birthday party here and it was absolutely amazing! The grounds were clean and well kept, the pool and hot tub areas were clean and easy to find. Our party room was set up so nicely with linens and cutlery. Food was fabulous! The hotel staff were so helpful, personable and kind. Our daughter’s party was everything she wanted and more! We will definitely being going back for more parties!"
