"Our a/c unit was broken on the outside birds were in it. It smelled when you turned it on. The hallways and breakfast nook stunk. The floors were dirty outside the rooms. Empty beer bottles by the one door. Flickering lights everywhere. There is no elevator or racks to take your luggage on. The windows don't have locks on them."

"This owner is a lowlife thief. I knew as soon as he asked for a credit card to hold $150 for "incidentals" I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and none of them EVER requires a hold more than what the total for the stay is. I could tell he was a liar and a thief from the start, but it was late and we needed to sleep. He said "it's on the website" which it may be, buried and hidden, but nothing I could find. Just as I suspected, he kept money and didn't release the full amount. I then called and why and was told because I had my 12 year old child with me, who he knew was with me the night we checked in and he said nothing about. 2 beds for 2 adults and a child. He says they charge extra for the child which is another flat out lie. When you reserve the room the price doesn't change when you add a child. This man is a horrible thief and the hotel is overpriced, smelly, dirty and outdated. Please stay across the street if you are in a bind. These people will steal from you and have no issues doing so. Not to mention the place was a ghost town on the weekend, so you would think they would want to make a good impression on the ones who stay there. Nope, they rather be greedy and steal from families out of town. Lowest of the low! Response to scam artist owner: You lying vile scumbag, you never asked if I had a child in the car. How is that cheating you worthless slumlord? We had a 2 bed, bug infested, smelly cell of a room. Hotels don’t charge extra for a child, when they sleep in the same bed, unless they are scam artist who operate roach motels like this. The room sleeps 4 according to your website, we had 3, and if I go book this same room right now for 4 adults, the price doesn’t change at checkout. You’re just a no good thief, and proud of it. And yes, hotels do hold incidentals on a credit card, but not for 3 times the nightly rate. $150 would totally upgrade an entire level of this dump. Best Western Corporate will know about what kind of unprofessional slumlord they have using their name. I’m sure you will be out of business soon, unless you keep stealing money from families traveling."

"Ok so it's not the cleanest place, our 1st room smelled like mold and heater was very dirty, they didn't hesitate moving me to another room which was fine. Staff overall was pleasant. Breakfast was ok."

"Our reservation expressly said accessible room but we were put on the 2nd floor in a hotel with no elevator. Even the ice machine was on the first floor only. Hot tub was still broken but we hadn't read the reviews to know this or we would have waited and went somewhere else. Only good aspect of our stay is they did fix the broken toilet seat right away. Didn't even get a receipt upon checkout. Assume it's because he was busy with breakfast and other checkouts. Highly doubt we will be back."

"Location is nice, its off the main road in a quiter spot. Hotel room exactly as expected, and perfect for the price. We got the whirlpool room. Room very clean, we had a two day stay and got fresh everything both days. Manager was extremely nice and funny. Definitely will be staying again when we're back to town!"
