Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf

"Worst casino I've ever been to. Slots are super tight. Never saw a hand pay all night. Hit bonuses on a couple machines that paid 0. Not like I was better the minimum either. The drinks are so watered down hard to tell if there was any liquor in it at all. Went for coffee in the morning. One station was empty..the other had something in it but it wasn't coffee. Too many other casinos in Iowa to spend another minute at this dump. Never again"

"At check in the 2 ladies were very friendly and informed me I had a room comp. They told me I could upgrade to a suite for 43 dollars which I could use my points to pay for at checkout and if I chose to do that I would receive my deposit back in full. When I checked out in the morning I was charged 100 dollars and told i couldn't even use my points. The lady working (I believe her name was Melissa) was rude and of no help. She told me I'd just have to call back later and talk to a manager. I called back later that night and 1 of the ladies who checked me in remembered me and said it looked like an easy fix and that she would leave an email for the morning supervisor to fix the issue and contact me once it was resolved. I never got a call so I called back. Once again I got Melissa who told me she wouldn't be able to fix it. I said you can't just decide to not honor the price you quoted after the fact. She responded she absolutely could. Then she claimed I was yelling ,which I wasn't, refused to get a supervisor, said I could complain to myself and then hung up. I called back asking again for a manager. She then claimed she was the manager and hung up again. This was easily one of the worst displays of customer service I've ever witnessed."

"Cold water & showers all weekend in both of our rooms, wifi was weak and I was unable to work when I needed to and their pool towel policy is ridiculous. There's a sign in the room that states you're being provided 4 towels for the pool, and that you will be charged if there are not 4 towels to account for. We have been traveling for soccer tournaments for a decade and I would say this is the worst experience I have had. I have emailed the sales group and would expect some sort of refund. Casino was nice, that's about it."

"Just had the worst experience there the last few days. First room south tower was full of dust and cobwebs on walls and curtains. I was fine before I was in that room. Sneezing like crazy from the dust. I went to the front desk they gave me key to another room. That room was the same dirty. Back to front desk where the lady was rude. Saying it's a smoking room that happens. I was moved to the north tower. I walked in the room heat was on full blast almost 90 degrees in there. I shut it off for the night. Next morning still hot so I went to front desk again. I waited a hour for maintenance to come. They tried to replace a part on the heater. Still was blowing very hot air. Once again back to front desk. I was moved back to south tower. Across the hall from where I was to begin with. Needless to say it wasn't a pleasant experience. The rooms are not that nice for what they charge."

"If I could give zero stars I would. We came for a wedding and we called ahead and was told we could check in at 1:00 pm. We got there at 1:30 so we could get ready for the wedding. The lady at the desk who said she was the shift lead was extremely rude and mean. She accused me of being verbally abusive even though I was not. I really don’t appreciate her gas lighting. I was expressing that I was told one thing and she was telling me something else. She was very rude and not accommodating. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. Update: I went back in later and went to another customer service person. She was nice and got us a room. However, there was an African American woman talking to the first lady I talked with. The customer was upset because her reservation was messed up. The customer was not rude or threatening but she was understandably upset. The lady called security on her stating she was being threatening. It was totally a racist “call security on the Angry African Woman” situation. I went up to security and told them it was unnecessary for the employee to call security and it was in fact her that was being rude. I said the customer was not threatening at all. This is just unacceptable."
