"I have a previous review on this page but I asked to do another one this year. A five rating just does not seem to go high enough to express our gratitude for the great income tax service that Carole and the Robnett Company provides for Brenda and me each year. When I first started out as a small country church pastor, I did my own taxes. But over the years, both the tax law and my situation have become more complicated. I depend on the Robnett company to help me navigate the often murky waters of income tax. Each year we can be fully confident that the preparation of our return has been done correctly. Carole works competently and knowledgeably so I know that all it is as it should be. Most of all, I know Nathan Robnett to be a man of the highest personal integrity. "I had our personal and business returns done by Nathan Robnett years ago, but I can tell you the experience was far less than fulfilling. Not only was it very expensive, but Nathan refused to correct the improperly prepared returns (his fault and omission) at no charge. Insisted upon additional payment for his mistakes. Complained to him multiple times and got nowhere. Ended up having to pay another CPA to correct the problems. Mr. Robnett is outright LYING about his lack of care and liability throughout the entire tax preparation process. I would NEVER, in good faith, ask him or ANY OTHER CPA to falsify a tax return, and his accusation of same proves he is just using this as an excuse as a cover up for his incompetence. The information missing from the return(s) were not only valid tax deductions, but he was so coarse and callous (as he obviously still is now) that he refused to acknowledge the legitimate information that was left out of the return, which lowered our tax liability SIGNIFICANTLY.... It was more than obvious that the CPA I hired in his stead knew EXACTLY what information was missing and how it should have been done right, THE FIRST TIME... If he thinks I "wanted" to have to pay another CPA to correct his mistakes, he's delusional. The reason I wrote this review so long after the fact is I was going through old tax returns prior to disposing of them, and noted that I had to have TWO different CPA's prepare a return of ours for a single year, and this is the only year, out of nearly 25 years in business, that I've EVER had to do that. Just because it was so long ago does not diminish the bad taste in your mouth when you receive lousy service."
