"Exceptional stay! Impeccable service, friendly staff, and spotless rooms. The hotel's central location made exploring the city a breeze. Will definitely return!"

"The lady at the desk was friendly. Bathroom clean with fridge and microwave. Some upkeep issues need to be addressed. The carpet was dirty with multiple spots and looked like it was not vacuumed. The bed spread had cigarette burn marks, and the ceiling had repairs that were not done correctly or painted correctly. The curtain to the window did not close all the way, the slide lock on door was broken off, and the lock on the door handle took me several minutes to get to lock. Bed was comfortable and had several different pillows to try."

"I asked for a wheelchair accessible room with roll in shower, specifically. I didn't get one. The toilet was not accessible for my wheelchair. Plug ins weren't accessible....there was one behind the nightstand, floor level. There was no room between the end of the bed and the dresser to get a wheelchair through to reach the AC/heat controls. There were no cups in the room."

"Totally run down. Broken electrical products. Electrical issue with heating cooling unit stained carpeting scrape walls antiquated furnishings. Owner family lives on site and cooking smells permeated in the building. Sidewalks broken and collapsing. Essentially is nothing more than expensive Campground. Would recommend planning on staying somewhere else. It was late and we had driven all the way across Iowa and previously had had great experience with Super 8 but this place was a dump."

"I stayed here because I had a fire at my house. The hotel is very pet friendly, and the lady on the morning shift is incredibly nice. The location is good with not a lot of traffic or light to disturb you. However, the rooms have a smell to them, the pool is not in working order and their grab and go breakfast starts at 6 AM and might as well be over by 6:30. They do not replenish the food to be over at 9 AM. The handicap accessible room that I had was workable, with an ample number of grab bars in the bathroom and a transfer bench. the room was dated and it is true the hallways consistently smell like marijuana. The location is pretty good with quick access to many local restaurants. Also, there is no traffic noise and no lights streaming into your room. You do not hear a lot of noise from neighboring rooms, and the curtains in the rooms make for dark and comfortable sleep. there was no housekeeper when I stayed, but the front"
