Bellaire Elementary School

"The treatment of the kids in this school is short of being bullied by their own kindergarten teacher and I have yet to receive a call back from the principal after leaving several messages. Students should feel protected and welcomed when they go to school yet they make comments of being afraid of their own teacher. And even moreso when one is denied the option of sitting in class to review the daily activity raises red flags. Needless to say a follow up call to the superintendent and media will be in order."

"I would give it 0. My grandchild went to Avant pre-k at Bellaire and she had a wonderful teacher and loved it, loved to read. Then 1st grade, this teacher yelled at kids, would squeeze hand hard if they needed help writing etc, teacher was horrible to kids and this child who loved school, loved reading, didnt want to go, doesnt like reading anymore. This school has failed to meet state requirements for yrs. I went there when I was little, hated it, so did other friends and family, varied yrs, all hated it. Most of this past yr we learned about during summer and heard same from other classmates over summer, do plan on filling complaints with District,"
