"So far I'm not a big fan of my child's overall experience. Her 1st year,last year, she had a rookie teacher,whom never seemed to know what was happening(I blame that on her support system there at school,I felt they could've noticed she was struggling had they taken the time to help out the new person). This year,for reasons unknown to myself,her teacher seems to be missing alot of days. Which in turn requires a substitute to be placed in her class. And again I feel her support system is failing her or him. I realize the hardship a substitute must endure but the children/students are the ones being left out to hang. We spend alot of time following the directions as to helping at home but I feel we are doing more of the schooling and they are just public daycare. Which isn't at all helpful for my children or others children's future. Maybe my expectations of Madla Elementary are set too high but they wouldn't be had they not said they were the best elementary in their district. Again maybe I'm expecting too much from free public education. Myself a product of free public education should know full well that too most of these teachers it's just a job,where the main thing is"what are you doing this weekend" mentality."

"My sons both went. Great school. Well run with teachers that have been there for a very long time."
