"My experience was Dr. Garza was so traumatizing. I have never again had any more children and get such anxiety when it comes time to seeing a doctor in this field. I would highly recommend finding a more reliable, thorough, and compassionate doctor. You will not find that with him."

"I really think that Doctors just want to prescribe medicine and be done with it. My wife is very sensitive to medication as most affect her heart problems. Her previous doctor insisted that she get an IUD to handle her extremely painful periods instead of testing to see if she had other issues. She switched Dr. Garza had her tested and found out she has endometriosis which required surgery. That was good and we were thankful. She then soon had her IUD removed and after excessive bleeding a few days later, went to the ER and was diagnosed with uterine fibroids. Dr Garza said they really are not a big deal and they are not cancerous and there isn't much to worry about. They are extremely painful and cause her to spend a lot of time in bed. It is affecting her daily life. He has since then pushed for her to use fibroid medications treatment them and to control the pain but since she is sensitive to meds she is not willing to try them. (One of the scariest side effects is liver damage) He told her that she is a difficult patient and that if she's not going to take the meds then there's nothing to really do about it. It's like these doctors don't understand that its a huge decision with life altering implications for some people. He even suggested that she try some meds that are still in clinical, knowing full well that she has issues with many meds already. After researching we have found that there are surgerirs and even treatments such as Uterine fibroid embolization that can be done to "kill" the fibroids. I strongly suggest that you do your own research before you let callous doctors push you into taking new medications that have so many potential side effects that could be worse than the initial problem."

"If you look at all the people who post about how wonderful Dr. Garza is they are all thin, I went to him to get permany birth control where they insert springs in you tubes and the tubes scar up around them not letting anything through. Anyway long story short he kept making comments about how because I’m so big everything in my body was squished together that even with the speculum in there he could barely get a finger in. I left so defeated because this was postpartum 8 weeks and it was a high risk pregnancy so I was on a strict diet so I had actually lost 30 pounds while I was pregnant. I was working so hard to keep the weight off before all those comments he made I thought I was doing really well. As he left after the procedure her said I’m serious u need to lose a lot of weight, it’s very unattractive. It’s been 7 years and his words still hurt so much."

"Dr. Garza is intelligent but does not address or listen to any concerns. I have been going to the practice since 2011 and will be looking for a new doctor. Dr. Garza has recently not been interested and seemed inconvenienced with any questions or concerns that I have. I’m disappointed since dr. Garza was initially very compassionate."
