"Where do I even begin? Miss Anna Mercenario is the director of Immersion Montessori Academy and our son has been a student for 6 months. He has just completed his preschool year and we would absolutely recommend this school if you’re unsure if this program is a right for your kid. For the first few weeks, our son struggled with typical social challenges kids face at this age and when my husband and I brought up our concerns, we always felt heard and validated. We were pleased with Miss Anna’s and his teacher’s prompt responsiveness and follow-up on multiple occasions. In the end, my son was able to develop a love for learning and has also begun to integrate Spanish communication at home. It was a steep learning curve since teachers speak Spanish for the majority of the day, but we have seen a vast improvement. Though this place is not the cheapest nor the closest to home (we live in the medical center area), all the efforts were worth it. After extensively researching and touring other local Montessori programs in San Antonio, we felt this place was a perfect fit if you’re looking for more intimate/smaller classes. To speak to this perk, Miss Anna would routinely send my husband and I pictures and videos of the activities our boy would be engaging in at the moment- we loved that! We also appreciated the school’s flexibility in providing a range of schedules that will best suit your family’s needs. Overall, we could not be any happier with this school and are excited to enroll my daughter this Fall. Keep up the good work, IIMA!"

"We relocated from Florida to Texas at the beginning of the school year. My daughter was not where she needed to be for 1st grade. Thanks to the individualized teaching approach she is now where she needs to be! The staff as been extremely helpful and caring throughout her learning journey. Both of my kids 3 and 6 enjoy going to this school! As a parent also coming from a Montessori learning style, I highly recommend it! This truly helps children to be more independent, more well rounded as they get older and bilingual!!
