"I have four children and am a pediatrician. My kids have always attended Montessori, to include private grade school in Colorado. After we moved to Texas, I wanted to continue in this style of education. We are also enrolled at MSSA as well for a point of reference. My kids enroll for the summer and really enjoyed themselves. Yes, they came home with sand in their hair, paint on their clothes, and dirt in their fingernails. Yes, they played outside at all times of day and required daily sunscreen (I'll take that any day to bundling up toddlers for snowy weather for 10 minutes of playtime). My kids left me each day without hesitation, eager to start their school day. I was greeted warmly by each teacher and felt they knew my kids well. My kids came home with a wide array of topics to discuss, which varied weekly through the entire summer. The staff was always professional and quick to communicate any concerns with me. The facility is a little older, but don't let that fool you. I think this is a great place for a true Montessori style program with a great emphasis on early education."

"It is a great school! Our daughter went there for her first grade until we moved to Austin. She absolutely loved going to this school. She said that teachers and kids there were very kind. She enjoyed the activities that they did in the school and she learned a lot! I am very happy that our daughter went to the Country Day Montessori School. It is an outstanding school with great environment. Pros: amazing location, small school size, before and after school program available, excellent staff. Cons: no cons."

"We have now moved to Austin but both my children have been set up for success because of their 3 years at Country Day. All the staff from Ms Betty to the individual classroom and special programs teachers have been amazing to work with. I cannot recommend a better place to place our precious children at where they will be loved, cared for and nurtured to reach their full potential."

"We love San Antonio Country Day Montessori School. The Teacher: Ms. Lori is PATIENT and kind, loving, & willing to work with our child. She came up with a solution (after 2 days) that relieved my son's severe anxiety stemming from a trauma that he suffered two months prior, that we had been trying to work through with him since it occurred. This alone has helped our family more than words can say. She has many years of experience teaching young children and is patient enough to figure out what works for our child. Our family is blessed to have her teaching our child. The Owner: Ms. Betty Williams is wonderful. She is extremely knowledgable and is more than willing (happy) to share her knowledge with parents. On several occasions, Ms. Betty has sat patiently with me, with a caring heart, and given me so much amazing parenting advice. I cannot thank her enough for not being rude or judgmental when I came to her for advice. The front office staff: Ms. Natalie & Ms. Alicia are always genuinely friendly and kind any time I speak with them. They both have been very accommodating when I have needed anything. They both truly LOVE the children. Everyone at SACDM does. The staff at this school works as a team. They are a humble group of people whose true passion is the children. They are down to earth and make parents feel comfortable. They all work very diligently in figuring out what works best for each child. The tuition is a bit higher than other schools, but to us, having the peace of knowing our child is in the best care is worth making other financial sacrifices so that our child can attend this school."

"Both my daughters have THRIVED at Country Day Montessori School. The staff and the teachers know my children individually and cater to their specific needs and learning abilities. My eldest daughter (almost 14) was there for two years before she entered public middle school and has become quite the leader in her school activities and been able to handle multiple responsibilities at once. Because of San Antonio Country Day Montessori School, my eldest daughter has a global understanding of situations and has been exposed to a variety of cultures and differences. The Montessori Model UN program at the school really prepared her for her teenage years. My youngest daughter (now 8) has always been a strong willed child. However, in this Montessori program, she is cooperative, helpful and far surpasses my educational expectations. Her imagination is vivid and she is able to come up with witty comments, jokes and stories that most adults cannot comprehend. I have personally known my children's teachers, the staff and the director for over five years. They are kind, empathetic, nurturing, charming and lovely people. It's refreshing to find a school where they focus on a developmental, educational and learning experience rather than passing exams. If you are looking for a school that will fit your child's needs and help them blossom to their full potential, I urge you to visit this school and meet with the teachers and staff."
