"I called this shop after getting an initial estimate for my Buick lacrosse, to get a second estimate. I brought my car to this shop at closing time and he said he could get me an estimate in the morning. I provided this shop with my first estimate and asked for an estimate for this exact scope of work. After calling at lunch time the next day and asking if he had an estimate for me, I told him to let me talk to my insurance ect. Yesterday two hours later, no estimate, I made the decision to change shops. I told the owner not to move forward with my car due to lack of estimate. He agreed and today the insurance informed me the owner called them and tried to adjust my claim. I called the shop and he removed my door, bumper, and fender. This was not approved work. He is now demanding $800.00 to take my car home."
