"Great experience. I took in my bow that I had strung at another shop and just couldn't get a feel for and Jim got me fixed up over my lunch break for a great price. Turns out the bow string was routed wrong, the draw was set wrong, and the peep sight was crooked. The bow feels like a completely different machine, and it definitely shows in my target practice. "Stopped by today to get some arrows. Kelly was Great! Was able to cut the arrows to length while there and gave me a few other suggestions. Great experience, fair pricing, and an overall top notch experience. Would definitely recommend stopping by."

"Jim and Cody are GREAT. I came in today and the customer service was phenomenal. Cody is very meticulous and had my bow shooting perfect and arrows fletched great. This is the only place that will be working on my bow from now on."

"As I 'had' been looking to get into the sport / art of archery, I spent several months researching different compound bows, visiting several big box stores, and simply looking for something where "the bow spoke to me". I arrived on a Saturday afternoon at Gateway ARCHERY. In the PRO SHOP, was Jim, Cody, and Talon. I was immediately welcomed into the shop. Jim approached me and asked, how can I assist you today? I told Jim I wanted to get into archery. Before starting to show me bows and even asking what my price point was, he asked me if I had any experience and in shooting and what is it that I want to do (hunting / target). That was the first green flag. I voiced to Jim my intention. Unlike the big box stores, Jim measured 'my wingspan', something no other store between Granbury and Dallas ever offered to do (this is when I knew the place was the right fit, personalized attention to the customer). Remember this last sentence at the end of my review. Jim measured me up for the correct size bow. Jim was not interested in selling me the most expensive setup, the 'Gucci' of bows, rather, allow the bow to speak to me (another green flag). Jim then brought out a few bows, took me out to the range (yes, they have a setup range, and target range). With that, now 1 hour passed (Jim not even knowing if I was going to purchase a bow or not). For one reason or another, the first bow was not the right fit. Moving forward, Talon comes into the picture. Talon immediately engages asking me similar questions to Jim (another green flag, they are all about what the customer wants/ customer service, not what do they want to sell the customer). Jim then brings out another bow, again listened to my purpose for wanting to learn the art of archery. Talon and Jim begin to adjust the bow (draw weight / cams / etc). I thought wow, these guys take their customers serious. They absorbed my feedback from the previous shoot and did their best to fine tune the next bow I shot. I then head out again for the second time, and knew immediately this was the right bow. The service didn't end there. Cody then comes into the picture and greets me (not knowing who I was or what I was doing there). Cody quickly saw all the gear and components around the PRO SHOP as Jim and Talon had affixed the bow to my 'tailor'. Cody introduced me to the releases (something I knew nothing about). Again, not trying to sell me on the most expensive sale, rather ask me a few questions about my preference. Cody explained all the differences and tailored my purchase to my needs. After concluding my experience, I purchased the bow (almost 2 hours later and now the sale), Talon then takes me out to the range. Spent as much time as needed to make sure, I could shoot at 20yds and set the zero (yes, this bow had some unique components on it). In conclusion, for all those still reading this review, this crew all the way from the owner, to PRO SHOP PROFESSIONALS made sure the experience was unique. As stated previously to pay attention to the last sentence, they now have a customer for life and I will be sending all my neighbors and community to GATEWAY ARCHERY."
