"Please do not give this woman any business! She does not deserve it and she is dishonest. I worked there briefly (1 week), and she fired me without saying “You’re fired” according to TWC, who said I left voluntarily, and according to Brenda. Believe me - she fired me, but she is so dishonest that she prevented me from collecting unemployment benefits when they were due to me. (I haven’t collected unemployment benefits in over 50 years). I had quit a higher paying job to go to work for her. She had too high expectations for me during the first week, but I was doing certifications all week, which are required in order to sell their products. Crazy lady! I made some mistakes yes, but all she had to do was tell me she didn’t like me going into her office - for any reason, and I would not have gone into her office. Communication lady. I have never been fired from a position, as I have worked independently in the insurance industry for most of my career - getting paid only commission. I also have worked at a few office jobs and have won awards! I am an excellent employee and all I needed was a little communication and direction. Brenda allowed Texas Workforce Commission to state to me that I walked out on the job when I did not. After telling me all the things I did wrong during the week, and after me asking her THREE times if she was firing me, and her not answering, turning it around to ask me a question to deflect, she asked for the office key. Is that not proof that she fired me and I did not walk off the job? And Brenda - you are not telling the truth YET AGAIN by saying “you almost lost your appointment…” You and I know the truth. I have had my life and health license, (over 25 years), my Property and Casualty license, my Notary license and have sold Medicare to seniors (such as myself), as well as my CDL - all highly regulated with background checks, so I am not a novice to insurance. I hope the wonderful people of Canyon Lake think twice about doing business with this woman. And definitely, if you are considering going to work for her that you think twice. Thank you - I have said my piece."
