"I went to Merlin's today because my car was indicating oil change needed. However, the Manager was very patient and willing to look into the situation, come to find out, I had my oil changed there last and didn't need my oil changed for 2k more miles. "Joe & Jose are amazing. I shopped on Groupon for auto care, I went to Merlin in south Elgin. I was in there for less than an hour they did everything oil change, tire rotation...etc it was package deal for less than $100 bucks I got the 12k. So this is my 2nd time going I trust them more with my car than the dealership. I highly recommend Merlin"
"If I’m honest, whenever I hear about repair work I feel like it is a different language to me. That puts me at odds with most mechanics that I work with because I feel like they are always explaining why I should get more work done (and why I should pay them more). Thankfully, at Merlin, I never get upsells, never get some behind the back fees, and never feel swindled. They’re realistic and kind. Especially joe, the manager. He is consistent and clear and I’d recommend anyone to come here for work. Especially if they get to interact with joe. Great work Merlin!"
