"Salad bar was good. Service was good since you pick up your own order. Been going to IV for over 50 years. Pretty much always been very good. The pizza this time was pretty much awful. Was way oversauced. Couldn't taste anything but the sauce. I guess that there was cheese and sausage on the pizza cause you surely couldn't tell. This was an afternoon valentine lunch for my wife. We both were very disappointed. Could get better pizza that what we had most anywhere and as I said, we've been going there over 50 years."

"This pizza took me BACK! *Fantastic* old-school vibe in this place - the salad bar is a giant boat! It was super-busy when we were there (right before a SIUC basketball game), but the staff was awesome and fun. This pizza took me back to the 80s, and was really, really good."

"Nice little salad bar with a fair variety that was fresh and flavorful. The pizza was really good, that coming from someone who shy away from pizza. Cheese was good and not oily. And, the pizza sauce was delicious. We had the lunch special."

"The pizza was delicious!! However their salad bar has taken a turn for the worst. It's not near as good as it used to be. The service was ok but I stood at the counter for about 5 minutes trying to get some silverware before anyone even noticed me because they were standing around talking. Some of the tables were still dirty with dishes and stuff still on them from earlier in the day. I have it 4 stars ⭐ overall because the pizza was so so good!!! Oh and we had a Meat Lover's with no sausage!!"

"I had the shrimp pasta is a half dinner order. came w/6 pieces of shrimp, garlic bread and 1 trip to salad bar. My 9 yr old son had the 10” pepperoni and add $3 for thick crust. For both to eat it was $38. Way too high. His pizza was bland. Pasta was bland and garlic bread over salty. you have to go up to counter to order and have to pick up your food. Over priced. It says kid friendly but they have No kids specials on the menu. I will not be back."
