"The management is unkind and incredibly inconsistent. These apartments are in extremely poor shape. Upon moving in, we were told to give them a safety deposit of $150. They withdrew $1,000, and whenever we spoke to the main manager about it, she was uncooperative. We continued to pursue the issue, and then remaining $850 was put towards rent and other fees. Regardless, that is not how we would have wished to pay our rent, and the experience was incredibly off-putting and unprofessional. About half of our kitchen cabinets are soft, warped, and no longer installed correctly, due to water damage, and I don't feel comfortable to fully use them. The shower curtain rod was so loose and close to falling that if you tapped it, it would swing. The calking in both the kitchen and bathroom sinks was covered in several places with various molds, which I have done my best to take care of. The walls and ceilings themselves are very clearly molded with nothing but layers of paint over mold. If you push your finger tip against the wall, it will push in. Several of the outlet covers are not attached to the walls, but are wired correctly, leading to the outlets bouncing on the wires quite a bit. The refrigerator was unable to shut when we moved in and both bottom drawers of the refrigerator were cracked. This is because the racks inside of it were replaced incorrectly, and the refrigerator door couldn't close over the drawers. We had to remove on of the drawers in order to shut our refrigerator. It still does not work, and leaks constantly, so we keep it incredibly cold. There are slabs of ice in the bottom of our refrigerator. The dishwasher was missing a silverware rack, and almost all of the prongs are either bent, rusty, or both. There was a gap of about an inch and a half (big enough for me to stick my fingers through) in the weather stripping under the door. Maintenance claimed to have fixed this issue, but the only difference is that the door is at a slightly different angle, so now it's extremely difficult to lock and unlock the door. The weather stripping still has large gaps, and maintenance refused to fix this, even with knowing that the freeze would be coming soon. In 4 months, our apartment was treated with pesticides once. Pest control spray was sprayed over many personal items, shoes, furniture, etc. There is a serious roach issue caused by the lack of pest treatment, which we have on the first paid $75 for in total. For major contracting work, we were not notified until the night before, that they would be here in the morning. The email said to contact the office with any questions. I did this, and the manager refused to answer any questions on the subject, other than that the work would be only outside of the apartment, and either on the bedroom or living room wall. This was not the case, and whenever the contractors showed up, they began to drill on the outside of my bedroom wall, directly where the headboard of my bed is. Screws which I had installed for my curtain rod, were ripped out of the wall, the curtain rod somewhat fell out of the wall, and damage was done to my personal belongings. I had to bang on the wall in order to get them to stop drilling, as they were drilling a hole all the way through the wall, and had the drill lined up directly behind my headboard, with maybe a centimeter to spare. I had to call someone to help me temporarily move very large furniture items in order to make space for this. I walked down to get one of the apartment managers, due to the incident with the drill, and was given essentially nothing but sneers and passive aggressive comments about how they hadn't actually drilled through the bedframe, when the issue is that they would have done so, and I was given no real notice, as they had sent the email late enough the night before that I had been asleep."

"2 shootings have happened within 2 months. 1 left blood stains around my apartment. When I asked leasing if they could take care of the blood they kept insisting that it might not be blood and that they would ask police to analyze it. The blood is still there, no police came. I witnessed a group of men with guns trying to kick in my neighbor's door, then 30 minutes later another neighbor was shot. It's hard to feel safe here. When we moved in, they had freshly painted our apartment- they charged us a premium price for a "renovated" apartment. Within 3 months HUGE cracks started appearing underneath the paint. The floors are buckling, ceiling is now sagging and every door and window is stuck because the door frames are all collapsing. The foundation is floating on one side of the building! These are all signs of serious problems with foundation especially with how quickly the cracks grow. I will be furious if they think they can fix it again with paint! Then they keep renovating apartments in the builing without fixing the foundation which could speed up the collapse. When I told the leasing office about these problems I was ignored for a week, until i posted this review i had no answer. There are more than 20 cats now, 2 cats just had new litters and they use my flowers as a litter box and dug up my sprouts. The complex always smells like cat feces and then one lady in the office had the nerve to remind me with a smirk to clean up after MY dog, when we have never left a poo as long as we've lived here, yet I have to clean up cat shiz too. Audacious. A maintenance request was put in when we moved in in May. I have never seen a maintenance worker. When reminded, they told me one would come by the end of the week. That was 3 weeks ago. Still no maintenance. They put up a good front before you give them your money but don't expect anything good from them after they move you in."
