"absolutely disgusted. went in to ask about availability and the man at the front desk had an attitude the entire time. rather than just explaining the stuff well to us he decided to be rude. all of this because we wanted to pay with cash and i guess it was more work for him to do. did not get a room here, decided to take our money elsewhere."
"We stayed for a night on the way to Galveston. Check in took some time but the front desk person was friendly and tried his best get everyone checked in. In the room there was a hole in the wall behind the door and I had to go back and talk to him about it, so they wouldn't charge me. They didn't have any other rooms at the same rate. So we stayed in the same room. Other than that the room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. They offered bread, bagels, croissants etc. Waffles can be made fresh. Frozen breakfast biscuit sandwich was provided. Fruits, juice, and cereal was provided. Very close to many restaurants and shopping"
"A bit tough around the edges in terms of interior finishes but seems clean enough for a couple nights stay. The room smelled a bit damp initially but it went away after running the heater for a bit. For $70/night it was fine."
"Hotel is well kept in the lobby and outside. However the hallways have water damage as do the rooms. Rooms are large but furniture is worn and torn. WiFi was not great and dropped multiple times during my stay. Breakfast is available but only hot option was waffles. No eggs, sausage, or oatmeal. Just toast, waffles, and cereal. Pool was also green during my stay."
"I love this hotels family rooms, its enough space for my crew. It was very quiet and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was good and the hotel was full. The staff refilled and made sure everyone got a good breakfast to include fruit. The room was clean and simple, not too much extra. My boys thought the sofa bed could use a bit more cushioning but other than that we enjoyed our night stay They even have restaurants in walking distance. Great location. Loved the decor. I would recommend this place."
