"Ive seen people complain about how unkind and unbothered the staff is but my experience fortunately has been pleasant. I think it depends on your case worker, to some your just a file or a case load but to Ms .Yevette. Jammer your a person. Shes honest and patient and totally understanding for what you go through. Maybe it's because she a god fearing woman or maybe it's that she like her job in helping people. If your blessed enough to get her as your case worker your in very good hand's"
"Kind & friendly staff but Section 8 is very misleading. Many cheat the system to get more assistance. My case, White Male in my 50's, I've been disabled for 20+ years, wife makes almost minimum wage & we have a live in unemployed Son. We are poor & can barely live because of my Wife's paycheck to paycheck. We were only offered $140 for help, they make you feel small & stupid because they teach grown adults how to live. Like how to wash dishes, etc. Home must pass inspections every year & before moving in. (Homes & Apartments on the list are extremely expensive!) It's just not worth the waste of time. I was under the impression you pay no more than 30% of your monthly income on rent. So if rent is s $1000 you would only pay $300. Doesn't work that way, at all! Don't waste your time. You must attend this Orientation thing (where they teach you how to wash dishes & explain everything) I now know why it started with a full house & was almost empty by the 1st break! Very disappointed"

"Very deceitful. I helped a friend get on the waiting list and called in reugularly to check up on the application and returned every form needed to remain on list. Almost a year later she received a paper stating she would be removed from list because they didn't receive a form "They say" was sent to her. Supposidly this occured before one of my regular calls to check up on the application, yet I wasn't told a form had even been sent out. It never arrived so I spoke with the post office and they had nothing that needed to still be delivered. Brazoria Housing stated that we needed to prove she never got it so she could be put back on list. Exactly how is that possible when she never got it in the first place! Any proof it was even sent is only the Brazoria Housing's say so."
