"My previous post about my moving in experience… this is an update. February 01,2024 due to the high tension between myself and the leasing office staff including manager….. I came to realize from the vibe n low level of professionalism received, that they’re either racist or have no customer service training on how to deal with customers (tenants), ONLY ONE staff member that was ok, she did her thing…. Wasn’t ask that great but I prefer go to her if I needed anything. Maintenance on the property is very very very very bad, but there’s this one guy JASON, he’s a live saver, I think he needs to be a manager in the maintenance department and hires who he think are qualified for the job bcuz these “so called maintenance” don’t know what they are doing. Jason have to going over their work and that’s unfair for both us tenants and him. Jason I thank you, you’re only human and you are doing your best. The owner of Pines of Spring Rain….. you need to go back to the drawing board and find better human beings who ARE qualified for the positions. You can keep Nicole, she’s ok. Hence you need ground keepers as well"

"If I can give a 0 I would this is one one the worst customer Service encounter I’ve ever experienced and I’m in customer service I was hoping to move here and really be comfortable and happy enjoying my new home but being here just 1 week in it’s been one thing after another and no one seen to care about making sure these apartments are walk through and ready to live in I moved in and there was so many things wrong with the units I was told I have to put in a work order and I’m a new tenant I honestly wish I had a do over because this would not be where I choose to live viewing the model every one was nice until you sign the lease I’m from out of town and wasn’t expecting this treatment my toilet water been running since I move the microwave i have in the apartment is old and dirty i don’t even want to touch it in there are so my problems with the apartment and the leasing office is no help when I when there I was told it’s due to new maintenance company there is no prioritizing tenants as I see at this point I’m so uncomfortable"

"I was attracted to this place because of all the trees on property and the option to include a garage. The apartment interiors are actually nice and modern, though I wish the painters had been more careful as there is still paint sprayings and splatters on the floor that I don't risk removing without damaging the floor. In the few months I've lived here, I've had a couple plumbing issues. The first was taken care of immediately to my satisfaction the day after Christmas. It was an emergency and was treated as such. The second one took some time to get it looked at going through the appropriate channels (the app, phone messages to the office, even talking with someone at the office). Unfortunately it occurred just before the freeze and the staff was prepping the complex for the freeze. I was told it would be prioritized after the freeze. I agree it wasn't an emergency but it was an inconvenience. After the freeze, I went through the appropriate channels without acknowledgement. I called one morning and to my surprise, the agent I'd leased from - Destiny - answered the call. I hadn't seen her in months and assumed she no longer worked here. I explained the situation and she got it handled that same day to my satisfaction. My apartment is once again fully functional and I'm back to enjoying living here. If you decide to consider checking out these apartments, do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Destiny. She seems committed to the tenants and the property. When I leased, I explained to her I hadn't lived in an apartment in over 30 years and getting an apartment had changed entirely. I'd always rented in Montrose and River Oaks and always dealt with an owner for whom a verbal agreement and a handshake sufficed to close the deal. This was a whole new ball game so she was patient and helpful with me and responded to all my inquiries in a timely manner. I really felt welcomed. And now, her immediate action on that plumbing issue demonstrates she cares."

"Amanda is the worst person I have ever dealt with. She's mean and evil. She treats her tenants very very bad. Very very bad place. Fifty place. Thirty place. They force people to move out to other units just because they want to do remodeling. I moved out by the end of September. Today collections people calling me that I owe 289 for utilities after paying everything before I moved out. WHAT A BIG SCAM. Don't move here. Not worth it. You will regret it."

"Boy oh boy!!! I give this place zero stars. I have lived here since 2019. Please bring back Cindy and Cecily, even the old maintenance crew. Whenever there was an issue they would fix it in the same day or next day. Any emergency fixes would get done minutes after the call. They answered the phones to the office and were very sympathetic to our needs. Fast forward to 2023, new management, bad and inexperienced maintenance. I moved into an upgrade first floor 2 Bedroom apt this July. The upgraded apt looked nothing like they showed or promised us. Tons of items unfinished and still not taken care of. I know I’m locked into this lease until 2024 but I definitely will not be renewing my lease here. I really hope people read this and the corporate management takes this seriously. There is so much potential for this place but with their current structure it’s gonna be one of the worst neighborhoods to live in soon."
