"Because I had an appointment in the a m. that I didn't know when it was going to end, I requested a late check out. I was told flatly they didn't do that. After some pushing, she granted me an extra hour. I had requested a 2pm checkout. That was at my late check-in. So, I took it up with the manager in the morning, before leaving for my appointment. It was only when I had to call from the hospital and tell them the appointment lasted longer than I thought it would, they relented and allowed a checkout at 2pm. Why is this such a big deal? Why make a guest feel like they are a bother? As a former Hilton Diamond member, I can tell you that late checkout was never an issue at Hiltons of all grades."
