"I moved here to Texas from Atlanta 2022 and I moved here to the Lucas apartments. And I have seen mangers and assist mangers come and go. Let me tell you are new Assisting Manger Ryan is everything he takes care of business . Ryan is approachable and I like how he assured me if there is anything else I need make sure just to let me know. I was not but on whole for my issue he handle it ASAP!!!!! LaTasha V"

"Corporate needs to intervene at this complex. We don’t have a working gate in the parking garage and it has been that way for 10+ months. The key fob sensors randomly stop working so you do not have access to the complex and must wait for someone to hopefully be leaving so you can catch the door. The grounds are not maintained well. There is dog poop everywhere and the complex no longer supplies dog poop bags to tenants. The “dog park/dog run” is essentially unusable because of how disgusting it is kept. Security is lacking. I have had packages stolen from the mail room because the Luxor lockers were broken. I hope this complex improves soon. Where is our rent money going?"

"I’m here to tell you that this property is absolutely horrible. I had lived her 22 days when someone vandalized my car in attempt to steal it. According to Atleast 8 other residents that I’ve met in passing this happens often. They won’t bother fixing the gate to the parking garage, hiring security, or answering the phone when residents are in need. I’ve literally called while sitting outside of the office and watched them NOT ANSWER. When they gave me the tour they walked me a mile and a half across through the property in order to avoid me seeing what the outside looks like. The property is surrounded by section 8 housing, questionable looking people, and a field where homeless people sleep! How do I know that homeless people sleep there? Because my apartment has a beautiful view of them every night .I’m sure I’ve witnessed a few drug deals go down from the view of my apartment too but hey who cares ? There’s always dog poo with a dash of dog urine in the stairwell and in the elevators. There is no way for your freaking packages to get to your door unless the office is open. The Luxer/ Parcel box is always broken and YES packages are stolen very often! The office has a super high turnover rate most likely due to all of the residents that are absolutely fed up with the property and its staff. The whole entire key fob system goes out often which keeps me from getting into the building and to my own apartment where I pay rent! I recommend not moving here unless you’re fond of office staff that DO NOT care about you, your belongings, or your well being! Unless you like living in a neighborhood with plenty potential to be nice but is GHETTO as heck! I thought all of uptown would be nice or semi decent but no I was wrong! There’s so much more I could say but I’d be writing an even longer essay. DO NOT move here"

"PLEASE READ & DO YOUR RESEARCH before signing your lease…. My girlfriend and I have been at the Lucas now for 1 whole year. In that time we have seen vandalism to FOB locked doors and garage. Be aware the gates to the garage never close, so there is always unwanted traffic in & out at all hours of the day… trash builds up inside garage & garbage shoots & animal waste is always left in the elevators & hallways… we have 1 housekeeper that comes in the mornings Monday-Friday, needless to say the weekends go unattended & it gets bad! Us tenants and management have had multiple crime watch meetings over the course of the year we have been here addressing doors, gates, & security… 1 whole year & management promises that they are working on getting new gates and security… my girlfriends car fell victim to break in while parked on our floor in garage, along with like 10 other cars! IN ONE NIGHT! We used to have patrol officers and security every night & now nothing. Stolen packages happens on the daily & forget the office accepting your packages due to a “liability” issue… tonight we had another “town hall” meeting to address concerns, yet again. I was over it half way through because it was all the same promises, even though management was all new faces…. I really hope this place gets turned around for future residents because it truly is a beautiful property, unfortunately my girlfriend and I will not be sticking around to see…"

"Trust the negative reviews, people have no reason to lie to you about this place. I’ve lived here for over 4 years and finally had my car broken into. It was inevitable I guess. What do you expect when the gates are broken and consistently stuck open? Cars get broken into, rims get stolen from cars, people shoot up H in the parking lots, people squat in vacant apartments and in the amenity areas. Like someone else had mentioned, the gates have probably only worked correctly for about 2 weeks total out of the 4+ years i’ve lived here. Management sucks, NOT the front desk people or maintenance, they’re just doing their jobs. Literally had the manager lie to my face and say a crackhead broke the door knob off one of the stairwells the day after it had been replaced, because a crackhead was trying to break in and it’s all on camera. Guess I look like a crackhead according to management because I accidentally broke the door knob off while turning the door handle since a cheap new handle was installed. I wasn’t able to access my apartment for 2 whole months because they were too cheap to buy the proper fitting door knob and replace the broken one. I can’t wait for my lease to be over with, I literally have a count down app on my phone and a special bottle of champagne for when I’m finally released from the confines of this S hole. Reply to the owner: I’ve lived here for 4 years years and y’all don’t have my name in y’alls system? What a joke. Why would I even bother emailing y’all like you asked? Y’all wouldn’t do anything or respond because y’all never do. Why care all of a sudden? The answer is you don’t, you’re clearly just trying to save face for any potential tenants reading the poor reviews that there are plenty of."
