"Excited to see this beautiful hotel after the remodel. Stayed last week and was pleased with location near the airport and local food spots. Had follow up with guest services with some good conversation. My wife and I will be staying again this weekend as we attend another conference in the area."

"I've been here twice in the months and lobby had smell like there was a broken sewer line at some point. Rooms are good but they are still trying to fix TVs and other things. Staff is good. This location really needs some investments in renovations. You'll want to tour it to see if they fix some of these issues before scheduling a meeting here."

"Staff was 1st rate. Stayed here for a staycation in the executive suites. Natalie was very friendly and inviting at the front desk. The hotel is old and although the decor is pretty it's dated and showing its age. I was told this hotel is getting renovated in 2024. This hotel should be stunning after that. The rooms were nice but again aged and the bed was hard not very comfortable. It would be perfect if they had the mattress topper the Doubletree uses. There was a slight stale smell to the room and again probably due to the old furniture. I was happy to see you could log into your streaming services on the TV. The shower was hot. They still offer room service even being short staffed. Due to low occupancy when I stayed there was no breakfast buffet. I will definitely come back after renovations to see how everything turns out."

"We were excited to stay at this hotel. It was close and convenient for the time and purpose that we were there. The lobby made the hotel look promising (see video). Unfortunately, the hotel is VERY outdated and in need of updates. The front desk staff were nice and pleasant. There is a coffee shop but unfortunately there was never anyone working although the sign said they would be back in 15mins. (We tried first thing in the mornings and lunch times). The hallways were SO hot and humid and the room wasn't very cool. Had a king suite and there was only one vent for the whole room. It was all the way over by the window (decent size room) and the thermostat was over there as well which seemed to defeat the purpose of temp regulation next to a window. The air also wasn't blowing very hard so that was a bummer in summer. The rooms are not lit very well with just lamps as the only option for light source in the room. It was still very dim even with every lamp turned on. You can hear everything in the hallway with the big gap under the room door. It was nice to have the mini fridge, but not helpful for storing food given that there was no microwave to heat anything. The bathrooms need much work also (see pics). There was hair in the tub upon entering the room for the first time. The beds and pillows were not comfortable and had the thinnest sheets on them. Parking is free but awkward. There's a big parking section that said for valet, but we never saw a valet the whole time we were there. Once the small & poorly designed parking lot out front (not many spaces, they were tight, and lined in weird directions) is full, the only option is to park in the parking garage and walk back out the garage and then across to the front door or take the walk-through to the side door and down the long hall. This hotel definitely doesn't even compare to other Renaissance hotels we've stayed at before and should no longer be labeled as "luxury." The pictures on their website look like a completely different hotel than what you see in person. This was our first and unfortunately very last stay at this location. *To clarify: the picture of the bathtub faucet was not taken sideways. The faucet handle is in the correct position. The temperature "card" on it just spins when the handle is turned. *Note the location of the air conditioning vent."

"Just don't do it. I know it's tempting, it's beautiful on the outside and the price is cheap. When I stayed here 10 years ago it was so nice. Now it's pretty much a dump. We had no hot water and sink would not drain. To make matters worse, the heater did not work, nothing but cold air. The in room phone worked about half the time when trying to call the front desk. The power outlet on the nightstand did not work, we had to unplug the lamp more the nightstand. Oh, and the restaurant? The waiter barely understood English, no Iced Tea and no seating in the restaurant only the bar. Just a complete disaster. And engineering was too busy to attempt to fix anything. They did offer to move us to a different room, but could not promise hot water or a working heater. To make up for the problems, they offered 5000 bonus points, which is nothing. I'm a diamond IHG member and spend 75 to 80 nights per year in a hotel and another 400 nights for my employees. Just a complete run down, worn out, old pitiful hotel that's in a sad state of disrepair."
