My husband and I have a good idea of what we wanted and she helped us with the design, bought the materials, and did recommendations on tiles. She was very courteous but also straight to the point when we ask her for advice and expertise, which we greatly appreciate. Susan and her team were all so nice and pleasant to work with. They explained everything they were doing, was clean every time the work day has ended, and they even wore masks for us as we were concerned with our newborn. "Working with Susan was effortless and the work they completed came out beautifully. As a non-profit that consistently works with contractors, I can say that Suan went above and beyond to make sure our bathroom project for our disabled veteran was perfect. Our veteran can now use his stepless shower, grab bars, built in wall seat and handheld shower head to bathe without fear of injuring himself. Susan helped our veteran and his wife with their design and they finished the work within a couple of weeks. "In February 2021 during the freeze, several copper pipes burst and flooded my house. Many people experienced similar issues so it was difficult to find plumbers, moisture testers, and remodeling companies that could fix all of our problems. I read on a NextDoor thread about Big Will Remodeling and gave them a call. The owner, Susan, came out, took a look, and took on this project. Water ruined several sections of ceiling, our master closet, master bathroom and water ran to the front of the house. The floor was ruined as well as knee-high sections of wall in the front rooms. Susan coordinated everything. A plumber came over, fixed nine leaks and restored water to our house. Next she had her people cut out drywall and dry out the studs. Due to demand, we waited two weeks for a moisture evaluation and passed. By April, we had a check in Big Willow's hand and we started work. We decided to upgrade our home with modern features. Our original bathroom was builder grade material from the 90s. Susan worked with us to understand the concept and materials we wanted. She brought samples and helped us coordinate the colors and materials. Her workers were friendly and knew what they were doing. If I identified a problem during the project, I worked with Susan. For example, the concrete in one room was uneven and her flooring people went back, leveled the floor and re-laid the flooring. It was a PITA, but sometimes you have to do the hard-right thing instead of taking the easy way. Susan's crew did it and we can tell when we walk in that area. It's been a couple of months since the project was wrapped up. Our home is back to normal, and we have our dream floors, bathroom, bedroom, and closet! Big Willow Remodeling changed that February tragedy to our June dream-come-true. Big Willow is a one-stop shop. Everything from demolition, design, and renovation was managed by Susan's team. BTW, Kelley, Susan's husband, is the other side of the Big Willow team. He's a helpful guy and always pleasant to be around. Whenever Kelley and Susan came over to discuss an aspect of the project, they listened and offered suggestions. They were tireless and without them, I'm sure we'd still be working this project.
