"We really enjoyed our stay at Basin Rv park in Bastrop, TX. It was an easy in and out with our 61 ft motorcoach and trailer. Paved streets and lots plus concrete patios. Right next to the river and a nice playground and dog park. The laundry and bathrooms were spotless, and they have a nice meeting area with couches and TV,s. Nice pool to cool off in. The staff was excellent. Enjoyed our talks with Kristina and the helpful suggestions about the area. As much as I hate to include this the traffic noise if you didn't have your AC running or TV on was"

"Excellent RV park! Safe, clean, friendly staff! A little noise from the road above but honestly it helped me sleep. No complaints, and will stay again when through the area."

"We scheduled an overnight stay. The temperature dropped below freezing, 16 at night 23 daytime high, roads slick so we stayed two more days. The manager came in while sick to fill our propane tank. Sandy helped in many ways as well. The management could not have been better. As you see in other reviews, the park is lovely and well maintained. Sites are spacious and level. So many amenities, including doggie bags and trash stations in the park. The traffic did not bother us, we slept well. In temperature this far below freezing all functions of the park were working properly. That really speaks to the quality of the park maintenance. We will return, and make this park a part of our travel reservations in the future."

"This RV Park is one of the nicer parks. Large beautiful spots with fire pits and nice outdoor furniture. Not to mention 11 deer early every morning. The river is nice and facilities were clean and well maintained. Ms Kristina went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Highly recommend."

"This RV park is well kept, has awesome staff (Kristina and others), and sites are spacey. Love the closed gate and access requirements. Easy to get laundry done with their machines being managed through a phone app. The RV is right on the river, so nice walk down to the river is relaxing. The biggest problem is the insane amount of noise 24/7. If you ever hear those cars that whiz by you with crazy loud pipes, well, just imagine hearing that at 2am, 3am, 518am and so on. As always, there is no place to really walk with kids except on the road down to the playground. So you have to be mindful of guests who don't look at their speed (limit is 9mph). Dog Park is ok, but I love that they do have bag stations all over the RV park. Bath house is nice, and the lady who cleans does an awesome job. Easy on and easy off highway access, although just be careful pulling in as the vehicles in Texas don't care how small or big your trailer is, they will speed, tailgate, cut you off and the gate entrance is right near the entrance to the highway. They have firepits, and even refuel your tanks if you let them out by the rv. They have lots of nice features and again nice guests, nice staff and nice sites. Overall, this is a great park. But, for the price and the sound from highway, I personally will not rebook again in future."
