"The staff is the best part of this hotel. We had booked the room online when it was the last available, but it was for smokers, and we don't smoke. When we arrived, the gentleman upgraded us to a non-smoking room, he was very nice. However, when we walked in our room, the first thing we noticed was a strong Marijuana smell. Also, the room was not clean, and there was damage to the shower curtain and water damage in the bathroom. Well, you'd think that was it, but no, spiders in the room and the floor was not swept and mildew smell and uuuhg! Just not a place I will ever stay at again."
"Staff was the best thing about this hotel and we felt heard as they were responsive to check-in needs/desires as well as a maintenance problem. The advertising should be updated and not show it as having a hot tub/spa - that was filled in 3 years ago. Stairwell cleaning/maintenance needs serious attention. It is the one thing that really takes ratings down on this particular Super 8."
"2.5 to a 3 star. We had two queen size beds. The only saving grace was that the room appeared clean. Usual fixtures falling out the walls, moldy tub and shower stuck. The room was a hundred dollars. Lobby area dirty and uninviting. The hotel/motel industry seems to have changed for the worse 15 -20 years. It's a ripoff."
"Ended up finding a roach in our room less than 10 minutes after checking in! Rooms were clean and decent looking until sheets were pulled back. Only thing good out of it was I was reimbursed the charges. Staff was friendly. FYI the hot tub has been filled in."
