"We did not actual end up being able to stay, we are farmers and had an emergency happen to where we couldn't make our reservation. They have a non-refundable cancelation policy, which I understand since it is a small hotel. But they also don't have the option to move your reservation to another night. It's sad, the place looks beautiful and comfortable. But we won't be doing business with them again after that."

"Stopped here in January on my move to Florida. I got a very low rate, as it was during the winter time/ during their “off-season” for tourists. The hotel is historic, and the owners do a great job at preserving it. The rooms are nice and spacious and are filled with cool antiques. I was so exhausted from the drive that I spent an entire day just resting - this is a great place to just rest and relax if you need a break. Also - the innkeepers were pleasant - excellent customer service - the gentleman who helps run the place helped me carry my belongings, and the women brought me a space heater because I said I was cold. Would definitely recommend this gem to travelers looking for a quiet place to sleep and people who like old-world style hotels"

"My wife and I were looking for something different to celebrate our 31 years of marriage and my 51st birthday. We found it! This place was so awesome! I am a history nut and my wife loved the old Victorian decor of these types of places so for us this was a win win! The staff was amazing and happy to share their history and the history of this amazing house! We so enjoyed everything about this place! The cleanliness was superb, the room was perfect, the bed was so comfy and the tub with the jets was so relaxing! I recommend staying here anytime you or your family is in town."

"The outside is beautiful, but inside the carpet was dirty in to hall, the room itself was ok, pretty but again the carpet was very dirty. Bathroom was pretty but the clear shower curtain had mold on the bottom, when I turned the bed down there was hair and something gritty all in the bed. I’d say whoever is in charge of cleaning should do a better job. My husband, my son and I did not end up staying we drove 3 hours back home the same night as check in! My advice go to a hotel."

"We stayed one night there. The bed was hands down the most comfortable one I have slept in on my entire 3 week road trip. We were in the guest house next door. It’s cute too. Great jetted tub. Enormous shower head. Fresh coffee in the morning. As has mentioned, we did not have individual ac/heat controller in room although I was comfortable. Lindsey was incredibly gracious and sweet. Even let us use her washer and dryer so we could do a load of clothes. My only caution would be that the breakfast is not worth $15. We had one scrambled egg, two slices French toast and two small Jimmy Dean looking breakfast sausages. I asked for more eggs because I knew that wouldn’t cover me till lunch but she told me that was all the eggs she had. It was very good though. She spiced the eggs perfectly but in my opinion, still not worth the price. We would come back again though in a heartbeat."
