"Nice rooms and very quiet. We were traveling with our two dogs and the pet friendly room was pristine. That isn't always the case and we very much appreciated it! Will be stopping here again next time we head down this way."

"Not the typical Hampton Inn experience. Stayed at this hotel ~7 months ago and when we checked in found stains on the sheets and bed skirt and hair on the sheets. The hotel staff was nice and accommodating and found us a new room which was very clean. Due to the prime location, we tried staying at this hotel again last night. The sheets and bathroom counters were very clean which was good because we were just tired from traveling. The bed was extremely uncomfortable — hard and you could feel the springs. This must’ve been a room with an older bed as we tend to stay at Hampton inns due to the comfortable pillow top beds and cleanliness. There were stains all over the curtains and it looks like the bathroom flooded at one time because the bathroom tiles rock as you walk across them and the grout looks like crumbling clay. I didn’t feel comfortable walking through the bathroom barefoot. It seems there are very different levels of rooms in this hotel as we have stayed in nicer ones, I just don’t know how you’d know which one you would end up with."

"We stayed in this room as a stop over on a 2 day drive. When we got to the Paducah Hampton at 9:30 pm, the fridge was not working. I asked to switch rooms. The front desk clerk said, "I'm not going to lie, a lot of our customers complain about the same issue. I'm not sure if I give you another room that the refrigerator will work." We switched rooms, and that one would not cool either. When I turned down the bed, the top sheet was either dirty or stained in multiple spots. I took the sheet down to the front desk. The front desk clerk was extremely accommodating, but she said she was the only one there. She was required to do CPR training for her job and was watching a training program. Since she was busy, I asked for clean sheets and made up the bed myself. (A positive aside is that the bed was comfortable.) The bathroom still had a dirty wash cloth in the tub with the bar soap from the previous tenants. So I think the room was not cleaned, just straightened. I addressed the issues at the front desk in the morning since there was no manager on duty the night before. I was informed that since it was New Year's Day, the manager was not coming in. Long story short, there was no adjustment to our bill. Never had a problem with Hampton Hotels in the past. Hope this is not indicative of the rest of the chain."

"The staff at this hotel were amazingly welcoming and friendly. The breakfast offerings are very good. The lobby is clean and comfortable. The pool area and fitness room appear to be nice, but we didn't use them. Unfortunately that is where the positivity ended for us. We found our room to be old and in need of updating. It smelled very musty and moldy. My nose started running within minutes of being in it. We asked if any rooms were recently updated and told no. We looked at another room and it was the same. The manager showed us a suite and while it too smelled, it didn't seem as bad. I think because it was more open. We decided to stay and by the next morning, we both had stuffy noses from the musty odor. It the price we're a lot lower on this room, it might be worth staying for a single night, but I couldn't spend several nights in this hotel. I honestly believe the biggest issue may be all of the rooms have old carpet in them and it holding years of wear. Not to mention it is a pet friendly place. Pet friendly rooms shouldn't have carpet in them."

"We were very pleased with the fact that we were allowed to have our little Chihuahua dog. The room was nice and clean. The television didn't want to turn on. There were I believe elephants jumping off the beds up above us. Up until midnight !! Breakfast was horrible. Sausage links were underdone. French toast strips were hard enough to knock on the table. Boiled eggs were slimy. The scrambled eggs and sausage mixture was dried out. All in all not good. But the room and desk staff were wonderful. Paid $200... Not sure it was worth that much money."
