"Went into this place for a trim. Outside window advertises $5 haircut. Walked out of there being charged $21 for just a trim around the ears, the back, and my eyebrow. I don't have any complaints about the haircut. Barber did a good job. However, if you can advertise a $5 haircut and charge $21 for a trim, something definitely is wrong with that kind of math. I can get more for a full haircut down the street at sport clips and that's probably where I'll go next"
"The first haircut my son got was amazing. The guy really listened. This time we were told they weren’t going to do what we asked for and completely messed up his hair. He doesn’t even want to go out without a hat on. I hate leaving bad reviews but this is something that should never happen. UPDATE- he has been taunted by his football team and classmates! Thanks for making my son look like he got his haircut by a lawnmower"
"I was a little confused walking in where to go, nice kid told me was in back. Friendly people, went into school room no wait, Austin took me right away. Asked how I wanted my hair cut. I wasn't sure how, he explained options and said he'd start slow and see what I thought. I've never seen a barber so concerned that I like what they were doing. He definitely went the extra mile. The other students were all friendly and put in suggestions. Need a better sign inside to school, but this is fantastic place and I highly recommend it."
"My review as a past barber student from Chop It Up... from theory to getting hands-on, my experience in this program was wonderful! I am so glad I chose this school. Vince was my instructor 1 on 1 in the classroom and I was able to get mentorship from all the barbers at Chop It Up. Being able to watch barbers who have 10+ years experience everyday really sets this school apart. I am now a Class A barber and have gained full confidence to perform services on my own! I was able to walk out debt-free thanks to the comprehensive payment plans they offer. I would recommend this barber school to anyone who is ready to pursue a lifelong career, get hands-on and be their own boss. Great Luck to all future barbers!"
