"I booked an appointment with Kelsey or Styledby_kels. I had a Friday appointment, she moved that appointment to Saturday morning, because she noticed that I booked 2 appointments. Saturday comes, and that morning she stated that she had a family emergency, cool. Later I checked on her, she stated that she was running behind on someone else's head, but my appointment was at 9 Sat morning. She didn't get to my daughter's nor my head, but promises Sunday at 5Am, she would be able to get to us. I drove an hour to Humble. When I got there she was not there...I called and text here, she responded 40 mins later via text. She didn't have the courtesy to call. It 5 was in the morning, and I have my child with me. She then states, after our appointments were pushed back, that she wouldn't be able to do my daughter's hair, but she will get to mine. At this point, I was really frustrated, because she knew she didn't have the time. I had paid her upfront for the services, my daughter started school the next day, it was my birthday weekend, and I had to cancel my plans. She did not give me back my money, and I had to go through my bank to retrieve my Funds. Her work is great, but customer service is horrible."

"If I could give zero stars I would……My son’s (starter loc) appointment was at 12:45 with “Sam” . We arrived at 12:30. She informs me that she’s a little behind. There was a client in the chair. Which was fine. 30 minutes later she walks over to let us know that if we wanted to leave to go get something to eat that would be great and she’d call/text me in about an hour. No call/text, so I returned to shop. My son didn’t get seated until after 4:00pm. 2 hours on his hair and this was the outcome. I’m beyond dissatisfied. She blames it on the “texture”. $70 waisted only to pay again elsewhere for someone to do it correctly. I will NOT be using her again! These are walkout images…"

"I’m happy I found a location located in the area that knows how to handle natural hair. My hair stylist Candace did a great job with my blow out and trim. I don’t trust anyone with my crown so I was very anxious to be trying this salon for the first time but I was really happy with the outcome. Candace is a really sweet lady. She took all my anxiety away and actually delivered the hair service I wanted. She did an awesome job with my son’s twists as well. We will definitely be returning again to keep our crowns together."

"Found Nola on accident, was stopping at a shop I know around the area. Walked in and met Marlon. He has been my barber ever since. The vibe is good. It's no like some barbershops where is out of order and disrespectful talking in front of children. It's always clean and they just put a new Flat screen TV in. Good music is always playing. It's by appointment or walk in. Marlon does men and women hair of all types so I make appointments with him. Great place and there are a couple restaurants near and gas stations. Area has always been safe, never had any problems. NOLA!!!"
