Ooh La La Hair Salon

"It has taken me awhile to talk about this place but I am never coming here again. I had called around and got a price of a blowout and haircut and was quoted $65 and that they could see me the next day for my appointment. I show up and talked about my hair and what I do to it at home. The gentleman placed a leave in treatment and sat me under the dryer for quite a while until he was able to see me from his other clients. He then started to cut my hair (I have long hair and was always told that if the hair dresser doesn’t make you stand up then it’s not going to be even) he gets on his knees and starts to cut my hair. Once he is finished, he asks if I usually air dry my hair or blow dry. I stated that usually after showers I air dry my hair. He then walks me up to the front and says I’m ready to be checked out ??? I go to check out and they told me it was $110? And then realized I had wet hair instead of it blow dried and then told me it was $90? I asked why she said I seen the most experienced hair dresser they had. So after paying, I’m pretty irritated because it’s not what I asked for booking over the phone and two not even the price that was quoted to me in the beginning. After styling my hair AT HOME, the first thing my significant other tells me is that it is not an even cut and there was this long piece that was not even. The only reason I even seen this place was because the salon I usually go to was booked out and I didn’t want to wait. Lesson learned."

I can tell her my thoughts, the look I’m aiming for, & she gives me the feedback on what would work best for my hair hair type & what would work with my complexion. A hairstylist who actually styles your hair that will compliment you- seriously the best of the best! This time I asked for my natural brown but to give it some depth. We decided on a reverse balayage & it was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Ooh La La is super cute! A laid back vibe while still holding a sense of professionalism. I saw ladies in there from all age generations & not a single person felt “out of place.” 10/10"
