"My groomsmen and I rented from the black tux for my wedding day. Store associate was helpful with sizing. Issue came on wedding day. I tried on the tux as instructed when it arrived two weeks before the wedding. It fit okay. Vest was too tight. I did get a replacement. The day of the wedding, the tux pant leg became undone right before the ceremony. We had to quickly pin the pant leg together. It appeared they did not do alterations correctly and it made for a stressful wedding day. I sent black tux feedback a few days after the wedding and have not been contacted. They only contacted me to warn me that I did not send the tux back, even though I sent it back the day after the wedding. Do not recommend."

"Scam!! 1. Reviews misleading! Some are about The Black Tux rentals, and some are about the Nordstrom tux sales. 2. Scam!! Scheduled an appointment, arrived on time, told that the rental wouldn’t be able to make it in time, that they brought over a Nordstrom rep to fit me to BUY one instead! 3. Click bait! Black Tux uses wording to fool you into going with them. Phone reps quote you a cost of $169 to rent tux. THIS IS NOT TRUE! The price only includes pants and jacket!! Then you a la cart the shirt, shoes, tie, suspenders, studs, etc. So now its around $309 plus the rush fee. For that money I’d would pay more and just BUY! 4. Bad business. The Black Tux is an online business that pieces together it’s employees. Phone operators from India, subcontracted employees for measurement, and a website. The communication between them is disjointed and provides different info! Found company online and called #. The # goes to call center and not store. Told multiple times on phone calls that I’d be able to get a rush order, measurements on Wed, ship Thurs, arrive Friday. Store disagreed and refused my fitting, when I showed on Wed. TLDR: The Black Tux makes promises that are misleading at best and are NOT worth your time and money."

"Joey was incredibly helpful in picking out my tux for my wedding. He was excellent at giving recommendations and let me try out a variety of options. He gave me the space to decide which fit would be the best but also guidance regarding what stylistic choices work well. He was great to work with and I highly recommend him."
